“Great first day at Spotted Octopus in Rochester! Loved the beer, food and especially the service. The new systems threw the team a few curveballs, but the staff kept their cool and made customer satisfaction the #1 focus. Opening on parade day proved to be the perfect pressure test and they definitely succeeded.“
“This brewery was recommended to me recently. I didn't have time to sit down and enjoy what they had to offer but I got some cans to go. Their style of beer is exactly why I like beer. Phenomenal German style beer taste, just the perfect amount of bitterness. I tried the Sappy - excellent beer. I'll definitely be coming back. I would love to see them extend their hours just a bit but I'll have to make do. Can't wait to come back.“

“FINALLY got to visit this location for the first time, and was greeted with incredible beer and service by the one and only Jay! Truly an awesome beer homie! He knew about every single beer (we were taking some home we weren’t able to try on tap) and was just wonderful to talk to and enjoy all the good beer with. It’s so fun to talk and hang with someone who knows the ins and outs of craft beer. My fiance and I are looking forward to coming back to Mortalis to chat with him and try more of their amazing beer. “I wish they had a bigger cider selection but the food was good and the atmosphere is very nice.
Update: it seems their cider selection has grown since my last appearance, so this place is back in my good graces. The only thing I'm sad about now is that they have a sugary pretzel on their virtual menu but not on their actual menu. I was so excited, for naught. 🥲

“My husband and I stopped at Froth during a 1,000 mile Bicycle Ride for charity. EVERY staff was amazing, we met one of the owners and his girlfriend who were equally amazing! They even gave us items to use as giveaways for our ride. When it comes to beer and food, Froth is unmatched! Their beers are amazing, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is so cool. We wish we lived closer to be able to come more often but will definitely be back!“

“Went for their Tuesday burger special which is two burgers, two fries and two beer for $30. I had the Texan burger which came with two patties, bacon, cheese, blue crumbles, and barbecue sauce. My friend got the diner burger, which was essentially your standard cheeseburger. For my beer, I got the blueberry spring, which was a sour beer with blueberry lemon and lavender. I don’t drink sours very often, but this one was a solid offering. In terms of the burger, it was very good. Everything was perfectly cooked. The fries were nice and crispy and it was just the right portions of everything. We were able to order our food at the bar and they just buzzed us when it was ready and we picked it up from the counter and enjoyed time out on their patio. I would return again to try other food off the menu as well as some of the different beers on tap as they regularly rotate.“

“It was such a fun evening with co-workers on a Pedal tour. We started and ended at Buffalo Olde Brewery and stopped at 3 others along the way. A Much needed night of Laughter! Driving around, singing karaoke, sharing laughs...nothing better!!! If you have never been to Buffalo Olde Brewery in Lovejoy you need to check it out. It is such a nice spot with bands on Thursday and Saturdays. The service was friendly, and the food was yummy. The mural outside is awesome! A gem for sure.“
