“This is great, we've been going to their other restaurant in East Moriches for many many years. Now we have the option to go here when we shop in Riverhead. Excellent traditional Mexican cooking and menu. This location retained the liquor license from the former Golden Jalapeño So they have a bar and you can get a beer or mixed drinks with or without a meal! Outstanding!!! Can't wait to go back soon!“

“Had the pleasure of eating at the Greenport location. Two of my HS girlfriends and myself on moderately busy on Sunday (1012/24) at about 5:30. A young waiter named Brian was our server. We first ordered drinks, mine was the margarita with the pomegranate swirl. So delicious!! Refreshing and frosty! We shared the Mexican Street corn and the three dips with chips, which were freshly made. So fabulous! So tasty. The salsa, guacamole and queso were just perfect, each different but delicious!! The corn was sweet and flavorful. I had three tacos in hard shells. Fried chicken, fried shrimp and the marinated steak. Each one was different and very fresh. My one friend, is a vegetarian and the other is gluten intolerant BUT! They each found many yummy choices! I’ve been trying to get to this restaurant for several years, and finally the planets aligned! Brian was well trained, patient and informative with a good humor. The interior is bright, festive and clean. So much food, I could not finish all of it. And!! the restroom was clean! You should be very proud of this business! We will be back! Thank you!!“

“We dined outdoors on a Sunday for a bachelorette lunch. Had a variety of drink options( many flavors of margaritas). We ordered a few apps, which lacked salt. The grill shrimp had no seasoning on the taco. It’s a good choice for the neighborhood.

“I wish I could say I had a good experience here. I came in with my wife and my service dog for lunch today. They kept refusing service & said they didn’t care if I had a service dog: that the manager wasn’t budging. I informed them that it’s federal law to allow a service dog anywhere that I’m allowed. My dog was not misbehaving or acting out in anyway. I explained to her that not only could I pursue legal action but they can also be fined $75,000 for refusing service. They finally agreed to let me stay as I was persistent and but told me I wasn’t allowed to bring her back. Please educate your staff about the legal rights of service dogs, it’s stressful for us. It’s no different than someone having a wheelchair or another medical device.“

“Absolutely delicious 🤤 was given a sample of the chicken bacon ranch today(they just gave me as a bonus 😍) it was really perfect. I also picked up some other special slices and they are just as good. All the staff is above and beyond polite and such a beautiful team. We always feel welcome and full. They are fast and have great pizza!“

“Hands down the best Mexican place in the area. Flavorful, authentic food at a great price point. The chicken tinga tostadas were excellent and extremely flavorful. You cannot leave this place without getting a churro. It’s the best churro that I’ve had outside of Mexico. Could not recommend this place more!“

“As usual the food and drinks were delicious. Unfortunately the waiter was rude. He screwed up my order. Then came over and twice asked me to admit I ordered something I didn’t. The waitresses were nice as always. Nothing was done by him. He did not apologize. Did not even offer to comp a drink or something. Not that I was looking for something free. He didn’t care. Really sad. At least the waitresses apologized.“

“This place is excellent, as always. They recently refurbished the place, and streamlined the menu. I got the Mexican Pizza and charcoal margarita. My only quibble is that they used to have a verde chicken pizza that was incredibly delicious. I would often dream of that pizza, sometimes justifying a trip to Riverhead just to enjoy a slice. Make no mistake, the current Mexican pizza is still good, but I will mourn the loss of my verde pizza forever.“
