The waiter served us quickly and advised us to try the fish, as I said that I love fish. Indeed, the food here is delicious, so I would like to recommend the restaurant to friends.“

“I took my wife there for our anniversary and it was great. We wanted someplace different and charming. They greeted us by name and wished us a happy anniversary. When the waitress came to the table she brought us two small glasses of champagne and again wished us well. The food was excellent and the waitress was the best. We totally recomend the place.“

It's the oldest bar in NYC (aside from one in Wall St.) - You might recognize it from GoodFellas.Worth going out of your way for the history, and worth coming to just because. “Ordered takeout for a Thursday night dinner for my family and everyone was very happy. I had the steak dinner which was phenomenal. I also took a small taste of the cod and salmon. FRESH and DELISH. All of it. Meatballs, sausage, broccoli, white clam pasta- all were top grade delicious. Chef Joe was at the bar when I came to pick up the food. “Great service, great food. Tried the smash burger, loaded fries and super smash. Super smash was decent but doesn’t compare to the regular smash burger. By far the best one item from a halal fast food spot I ever had. Loaded fries are like in n out fries animal style but with actual good fries.“

“I have had this bar on my radar since I saw multiple posts about this place on Instagram in the past. I came in for brunch, and I think this place is super cute, and I got such a great view of the water while dining outdoors. Owen was my server, and he was very friendly. The service getting my food and drink was a tad slow, which was understandable as I saw the restaurant was having a private event inside. They have a decent sized menu with reasonable prices, and the Meatlover Omelet I ordered tasted really good. They also make a great bloody mary as well. I was surprised that I didn't have an issue finding street parking in this area as they don't have a parking lot. Overall, I was happy with my first experience, and I will definitely stop in again the next time I drive to the Rockaways.“

The dips and platters were absolutely unforgettable, vibrant flavors and amazing balance in taste — not a single complaint first time going! (those lemon potatoes are nothing less than mind blowing) Everything tasted completely authentic and don’t skip on the Greek hot coffee, made over sand and very rich tasting. The deserts also were an extremely satisfying end to a meal, being very rich and delectable. Service was wonderful, giving all customers a friendly and comforting welcome, making everything feel natural and inviting.“

“Visited for the first time today and fell in love. Decor is beautiful as long as you like blue, vibe is relaxed, food really delicious. I had an omelette with asparagus shallots and feta and it was fresh ingredients perfectly cooked. Home fries and toast were top quality. “This restaurant can lend itself to a very noisy environment. Yet today, with several tables taken, conversation was easy and able to be heard. We have been here several times for brunch and a couple of times for dinner. Delicious salad with greens, grape tomatoes and fresh red onions cut over a chicken milanese. Companions enjoyed their choices of crab cake benedict and a large cubano sandwich served with homemade shoestring fries. Shared their homemade flourless chocolate cakes served with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream. Three happy people after an excellent brunch.“

“Birthday Celebration for an out of town cousin. We arrived and were immediately taken to our table. Reservations were made for 5 and we were actually 6. No problem the extra placesetting was completed quickly. Menu and Lunch Specials were provided and choices on the Lunch Specials made ordering easy for half of our party. Food was brought out without rushing and served hot. Everything we ordered was delicious. ( Pot Roast, Veal Parmesian, Bacon Burger, and Alfredo Pasta). They have a really nice brunch menu, including the awesome breakfast pizza, breakfast Risotto, and a lot of different items to choose from. “Many restaurants could learn a thing or two from Small Batch. Wonderful experience. Not only was the food fresh, inventive and meticulously prepared, but the staff was just lovely. Everyone was warm, not snobby, and went above and beyond to make my sister's birthday brunch enjoyable for my family. The food focuses on spotlighting the local ingredients and isn't overly fancy. My favorites were the hot fried chicken sandwich, the deconstructed eggplant parm appetizer, and the spaghetti with tomato sauce off of the kids menu (could have used a touch of salt but I think they underseasoned on purpose because it's for kids). The only dish that was pretty underwhelming was the shrimp and grits, which was kind of bland. The decor is also so tasteful and I felt transported to a fancy farmhouse somewhere on the coast of Rhode Island or something. I'll definitely be back!“

“I went here for breakfast while on business, and it was so good I stopped in again for breakfast the following day! The staff are friendly and always keep your coffee full to the brim with a smile on their face. Would 100% recommend for anybody visiting this area. Parking can be a bit of a challenge since they’re always packed but it’s worth the wait.“

“My favorite salad at WEST END has always been THE MANGO CHICKEN SALAD. It always included chicken. This is not the case now. The charge for greens and mushy mangoes with a bit of cheese is now approximately $18 sans chicken. That was disappointing to me. The mangoes used to be fresh but I believe that they were frozen, resulting in mushy defrosted fruit. Of course, I ordered the chicken to add to the salad. That was tender and juicy.“

“Great local bar with a very large selection of beers and delicious food cooked to order. All kinds of great bands on different nights of the week. They have fire pits in the back in a covered area with large screen televisions and exceptionally friendly staff. If you're in town in Rockaway Beach, definitely a place to stop by and have fun with friends.“

“Great food, but posted hours may be slightly inaccurate. I came on Thursday at 11:55 PM expecting them to serve until 12 AM as advertised, but an employee told me they stop serving at 11:30 PM. They locked up and were out of the store at 11:58 PM. Great food though.“

“My old haunt tried and true! Food is decent and service is exceptional. Sometimes I ask for specific deviations from the menu and they are always accommodating which I appreciate! Last visit chef lost a couple of points for serving sending out a pasta dish that had obviously not been strained before plating so my a La vodka sauce was pretty watery. I had to add Parmesan and sour cream to thicken it. PS the desserts are delicious!“

“Came here with a friend from Brooklyn. It wasn't too busy. Got seated right away. We ordered eggs Benedict and chicken & waffles, and sweet potato fries. They have $7 Mimosas with 3-4 flavors. So the mimosas were pretty good. Tried 3 different flavors: passion fruit, lychee, and pineapple. We both really liked the lychee one. Although it was a touch sweeter than I would have liked. My friend liked her eggs Benedict. Basically licked the plate. We chowed down on the fries. Although neither of us cared much for the sauce that came with it. So we had them bring us ketchup. It's hard to find a place that makes a good chicken & waffles. Their waffle was good, balanced with flavor good texture. The chicken was good too. Breaded nicely, tasty and moist inside. Wish they gave maple syrup with it though or just honey. They gave me some over processed syrup like log cabin but it was fine Service was great too. Our server was on it. She always appeared at the right time. Just when our drinks were getting low or if we had a question. Food also came out at a nice pace. Looking forward to our next visit.“

“This is my first time going to RoRo gyro. I ordered the RoRo hero with everything on it. It was so delicious. Also, the hero was put together by someone who cares about what they're doing, not slapped together by someone taking their anger out on it. I highly recommend this place! PS: I didn't go inside so idk anything about the atmosphere.“

“Love going to Bigelows i’m sitting at the bar the experience is great watching the staff freshly batter seafood and putting it right in the fryer right in front of you. The New England clam chowder is like no other. It is very delicious and creamy the perfect consistency for clam chowder. Definitely the best around the Ipswich fried clams are my go to favorite. They are fried to perfection and very clean oil which makes the food very good because the oil is always clean that they cook in. The people that work at Bigelow’s are great. Always welcoming and fun to hang out with by the bar while you eat your delicious seafood, no matter what you get I highly recommend coming here if you are in the area and you love seafood, you will not get any fresher!! Always leave happy and full from delicious FRESH seafood!!! 10/10“

“I love potato pancakes and was expecting a pancake size order. They were smaller appetizer sizes. I went just for the pancakes and ended up with a fish sandwich in a German Restaurant. It was good, but I felt my choices were either sandwiches or large meals at 2pm.. I'll go back to try something else..Wheelchair accessibility: I'll disabled and didn't need a wheelchair but it's Street level. Parking is on the street as well.“

Really good flavor and ratio of meat and cheese and toppings. Best part of the meal.- onion rings: these were okay, but I think it was due to the delay in getting home and eating them. The sauce was good and and breading indicated they’d be good fresh. Could benefit from having more in the order.- soup dumplings: very tasty, still warm when I got home with them. Had a lot of meat packed in.Had a little mishap with the shrimp dumplings, but the staff was proactive and made the situation right. Food was out quick. “Went to Park Place yesterday for an early dinner. Wanted to make sure that we were able to indulge in the Mexican fare before the Specials changed for the week. We shared the filet mignon quesadilla. The filet melted in our mouths! It was stuffed with all the right ingredients and was accompanied by sour cream and delicious guacamole. For my main entree, I had the blackened Mahi Mahi tacos. 3 large tacos filled with deliciously seasoned Mahi Mahi, mango salsa, etc. Accompanied by Mexican corn. Everything had just the right heat and was so good. Would definitely get these items again. My husband had the Steak Frites and, as usual, it was cooked perfectly and delicious. You can't go wrong at Park Place no matter what you order!“

Super loud/terrible live music ruined the sunset patio, we moved to the other side for ocean views which were more serene. If they had a more full menu and toned down the live music it'd be a gem.“
