“I am a bariatric surgery patient and I have a little card that requests if I can have a smaller portion (be it a senior portion or kids' portion). I gave it to my waitress (Heather) to have her check with the bosses. She came back and told me I could have whatever I wanted on the menu and they would accommodate my request. Heather was an absolute rockstar. She was quick with the meals, and even when she came out to let us know the lasagna was done for the day, you could tell she was worried we were going to complain (even though it wasn't her fault). We just went with the flow and she was great I'm not from the area, but I will definitely make a point to come back!“

“What a gem this place is, nestled in the Bristol mountains in Canandaigua, NY. The food is so delicious! Really, the chef knows what he's doing. Our server was great! Friendly and helpful. You won't regret a visit to this place. Will go back again! Highly recommend this restaurant. 100%“

“I really enjoyed the Apple Crisp cider. Very light and refreshing. A perfect summer beverage. The pulled pork poutine was also a winner. And of course, great entertainment from Tom Chamberlain. I highly recommend Star Cider.“
