And you do pay for the premium. At noon, it operates buffet-style, charging for about $60 a person, with only a moderate selection of food. For hot foods, you can’t serve yourself. Instead, you point at your choices behind the buffet line and a waiter portions it for you, a slightly annoying formality.

The spread leans toward comfort food: carved meats, pastas in creamy sauces, roasted vegetables, and a modest salad bar with cured meats and smoked salmon tucked among the greens. There’s a waffle station too, where you can point the cook to pile berries, whipped cream, and dried fruits onto thick golden rounds.
