“Edit/update: after trying the food again it was a complete difference and service was excellent and the response to the original review was perfect and honest happy to say it’s actually a good spot go check it out! Happy to have you part of the community my first few experiences were bad but one great experience makes a huge difference! I hope the pizza stays as good as it was tonight! I’ll be back next week lolI’ve been a customer my whole life growing up eating here and it was great but after the new ownership quality has went down severely everything I have tried taste very bland and honestly is not good I’ve tried 3 different things since the new owners and I have not liked any of it! I had 3 others who are regulars ( my roommate, cousin, and close friend ) who are also very disappointed by the changes and used to be regulars! My close friend said he actually got sick and was puking, my cousin said it was some of the worst pizza he has had, and my roommate claimed it was very disappointing due to no flavor. Hopefully if the new owners see this the locals and regulars aren’t happy and we want the pizza we all grew up enjoying back!“

“Plenty of store and food options! They have options like Steve Madden and Lululemon, but they also have Gucci and Prada. They have options for the entire family, so adults and babies can leave with something. It's outside, so be prepared for that. Be sure to take a pic at the I NY sign they have. It's a cute photo op.“

“I was really hungry and in a rush. The pizza was wonderful and tasty. It wasn’t soft and greasy like other places around. The zapolis was a nice treat afterwards. It was made fresh at that moment nice, soft and warm. It’s a spacious clean establishment this place is a hidden gem in this community. I will certainly return and bring my family.“

“I usually try different pizzas toppings, so I always eat the same thing. Haven't been disappointed yet. The place is a little dated, but so are most pizza places. If you are going there to eat pizza and not the walls, I would recommend this place to you.“

“It’s been very hard to find good cheese anywhere. The Fiore di Sardegna is fresh and abundant here! The frozen dinners tasted fresh after heating, olives and mozzarella were amazing, olive oil was full flavored, and the homemade pasta is outrageous! Love this place! I Left a lot poorer than I was when I walked in.“

The staff is welcoming, friendly and attentive; the atmosphere cozy and relaxed. Definitely worth a trip!Wheelchair accessibility: The parking area near the front entrance is small & fills quickly. I believe there is a handicapped parking space but no access isle next to it. There are additional spaces on the side of the building and around back. I've always been able to park my lift equipped van on the side of the building and get out of it without a problem. The entrance has a vestibule and getting through 2 sets of doors using a wheelchair is challenging. Once inside, there is ample space and bathrooms are accessible.“

“Hands down the best pizza in the area. I have been coming here since I was in High School. My family and I eat here or order from here weekly. Not only is the food amazing but they are great members of our community. Both of my daughters have had "Pizza making" field trips and loved learning how pizza is made. The owners took their time to open early, work with the kids and provide them with an awesome experience that they look forward to yearly. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. Whether you want a quick slice or a full meal, you can't go wrong.“

“I grew up eating here and I still haven’t found a pizza place to match. The owners and their family run this place and it’s always such a joy to spot them there. This place makes the best Sicilian pies I’ve ever had! They feed the whole family. If you ever have a chance to stop by you should. It’ll be worth it!“

“Delicious and Intimate. A gem hidden in a cozy building near the bandstand in Cornwall on Hudson. Municipal parking is ample and the food and service are perfection. I had the branzino on risotto, and tasted my companion's grilled salmon with the best capers. I also had a bite of the chicken Marsala made with sweet Marsala wine. All of the food was amazing. And although the restaurant was at capacity, we never felt rushed. Wonderful special occasion night out. The outside dining in the summer is also a treat.“

“Delicious...delicious...delicious. I really enjoy the food here. Everything is freshly made and tastes great, A cool spot to enjoy a meal and the service is top notch! One side is a pizzeria with seating. The other side is a bar with a section with tables at the back of the restaurant. I have been here many times and it never disappoints.“

“It was our first time at La Vera Cucina, and it won't be our last. The restaurant is so quaint and beautifully decorated and upscale. In fact, we felt we were under dressed. And even though it was Christmas Eve, and we didn't have a reservation, they accommodated my husband and I. The waitstaff and service were amazing. At every turn, they'd ask if everything was fine or if we needed anything. I had the chicken parm. The serving was generous. Of course, I needed a carry out container. Since we were staying in a hotel, we needed flatware. The restaurant didn't have plastic utensils. The person who I assumed was the owner, asked the waitstaff to give us real flatware and said, "Bring it back the next time you visit." Talk about going the extra mile. I highly recommend La Vera Cucina restaurant.“

“Late ⏰ review but overall the pizza ? was amazing visited here about a month ago. Restaurant was closed but there is a food truck they have outdoors that sells the best chicken and slices. So we had to eat in the car. The atmosphere was great and a nice vibe in the area will surely keep you comfy with scenery to enjoy your food. Thank you ☺️“

“I love Beni's! Their sauce is very similar to my mother's. I love to take my grandchildren to eat there. Their pizzettas are delicious! It's just a great place to go have a nice Italian meal with a glass of wine in a very comfortable atmosphere. I'm sure you'll enjoy what they have to offer.“

“It's a local Italian restaurant. The staff will remember you. Very friendly & accommodating. Food is always fresh & flavorful. My go-to whenever I miss shrimp Parmigiano or a really good calamari friti. Oh, don't forget to try the garlic bread too! Set aside the outdated decor, this restaurant will treat you like family.“

“Wife and I love the food..expensive but good...low atmosphere rating due to experiencing a strong cleaning chemical smell the past few times we've dined in..gets in your nasal passage and makes it hard to enjoy your food. We are not ever ones to complain but find it disappointing because otherwise love the place.“

“We often go here to get our pizza fix and have had no issues until today. Their hours say they close at 11 pm but when we tried to order around 8:30 to 10 pm, they have not answered. Thinking we got the time wrong we checked several times and it still says 11 pm they close. Very disappointed.“

“We had family visiting from overseas so we took them to Cosimo's and the food did not disappoint! We ordered everything from salads and appetizers to a pizza for the table, entrees and sides. Everything we ordered was so good, we came back for another dinner a few nights later. I would definately recommend this place.“

“Pizzarama is def a gem of Monroe. They have a huge menu and all the food is quality. Way beyond what you would expect from a pizza shop, they are much more. So much in fact I had them cater my Christmas Eve party. The food was fantastic especially the lasagna. Highly recommend. .“

“My family just moved up here few years ago. I walked in this pizzeria one day for lunch and was like ok, and never went there again because of that experience. Other day we ordered from there and I was pissed that I never went back after that first experience. Pizza had a nice sweet and tangy taste. Garlic knots were amazing, fried ravioli and the sauce that went with it was enough for me to go again. So I just told my wife I want Marcelino’s tonight. Sorry I didn’t give it a second chance.“

“As a young child, I lived in Washingtonville. After 60 years, I finally returned for a visit. I was showing my husband around, and wanted him to try actual NY pizza, and I randomly decided on this place. It was a perfect pick! The pizza and service were both great!“
