“An absolutely wonderful experience! Drinks were tasteful, entree selection was superb. Everything was incredible and delicious! There was not one bad meal between our family of 5. Waitress was very friendly and accommodating. 100% would recommend to all friends and family who want a quaint, upscale meal in the heart of the village. Perfect for birthday dinners, anniversaries or dates! Thank you Gertie's, we will be back and spread the good word in the meantime!“

“Mel was awesome! She went above and beyond to make it a fun date night for my wife and I. We HIGHLY recommend the ahi tuna. The Wasabi sauce is a must try with it! The homemade blue cheese is also incredible!Drinks A++. Nothing bad about this experience at all and we will be back very soon!“

“We are so glad we found this place. If you have never had a beer in weck (or like us, hadn't even heard of them) this place is a must for a quintessential Buffalo meal! We felt really lucky that our first was on prime rib day (Thursday). Their fries were delicious. Loved the open kitchen concept. Definitely felt like we found a local gem!“

“We are the self-professed BIGGEST FANS of Smokin' Little Diner in Lancaster NY. But I am sure that we are not alone in our devotion! This place lures us in like a Siren! It's a very unassuming little steel railway diner on Broadway near Transit Road. There's lots of parking in the rear parking lot of this adorable diner, and you smell the meat smoker when you step out of your vehicle. On this day, we stopped in at 11:30 am after a doctor's visit. If it weren't for appointments, we'd never get a meal "out". I try to get something different each time I stop in. Today I selected the Oink Moo Burger with Fire Berry BBQ and a heap of kettle chips. It arrived at our table like Mount Rushmore with a steak knife holding the monumental stack together. Oh boy! It was visually pleasing and I rushed to take my photo before I drooled all over the table. The brioche bun glistened in the sunshine coming in the window, and it barely covered two giant breaded onion rings! Next layer was a pile of pulled pork over a perfectly cooked beef patty and a slice of American cheese! The bbq sauce is one that I've enjoyed before: Fiery Berry Bbq. So delicious. I'm one happy person, but I know that I am consuming my entire day's worth in calories and carbs at this meal. My husband ordered the Meatloaf Stacker. It is a pile of tender, exquisitely seasoned homemade-style meatloaf over a pile of mashed potatoes, all balanced on a slab of sourdough and enrobed in ultra flavorful brown gravy. I had to sneak my fork across the table to sample that alluring plate. As with most dishes here, this menu choice also comes in a pulled pork or pulled chicken as well. Topped off with a cup of coffee, we're two well satisfied diners today! There is a very nice Kids menu for the little guys. The wait staff is ultra friendly and efficient! Don't delay! Come on down!“

“This place has an amazing veggie wrap. Delish!! My walking mate had the veggie burger, and she said it was outstanding. Very pleased walkers we were that day. The only reason the service is a 4 is because you have to wait. This is a busy place!!!“

“I arrived at duffs and entered through the mall entrance, passed by the trophy case and was told to wait 25 minutes for a table. There was many games for you to play while waiting. After 35 minutes I was seated at a booth. I ordered a Mountain Dew and it arrived pretty quickly, it was a pretty good soda. I then ordered 10 boneless wings with medium sauce on them and a medium hot flavored sauce on the side. After 25 minutes my food arrived, I tried the fries, it was good but crunchy. I then ate my wings, they were good but way too spicy. I then tried the Medium hot on plain wings, not as hot as the last one which made me think they put the wrong sauce on the wings and when I asked they would not swap them. I also tried the barbecue Dr pepper wings, they were the best wing I had, I highly recommend. The atmosphere is like a sports bar. I recommend this place but not at prime dinner time!Parking: Plenty of free parking.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, kids menu and plenty of good food for kids“

“I've been to almost three times now, and consistently, the wings are fantastic. I've had medium, medium barbecue, but the king has to be the Cajun honey mustard double dip, with the medium barbecue a very close section. The wings themselves have ranged from average to above average in size, and they're cooked just right, crispy but not dry. I know this is a bold statement given that Buffalo has Gabriel's gate, which is where I would take someone from out of town for mediums, but Elmos is my go-to place for wings.“

“I recently was diagnosed with a wheat allergy, and life has sucked until now. I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience. Service was a little slow but was worth the wait. They were packed, and once my food arrived, I could see why. Everything looked, tasted, and smelled amazing. I was able to indulge in a cookie while I waited, and my hamburger with fresh cut fries was amazing. Everything was fairly priced, and I left with my leftovers and a frozen pizza to try later. A few days later, I tried the pizza and was again blown away. It was fairly priced and delicious. I did not feel like I was "settling" for gluten-free food because this was good enough that I'd eat it even if I wasn't gluten-free.Dietary restrictions: Everything is surprisingly gluten free!“

“I just read the review about an elderly man that frequents the restaurant and the staff taking advantage of him. That is completely FALSE! That is a terrible way to express your opinion! I am also a longtime customer, I know Jim and he gives money to the staff. I have witnessed the staff refuse this money and he threw an absolute fit! Caused a scene in the restaurant and yelled its HIS money and he will do what he pleases with it. He comes in almost daily AND the girls have called his daughter to make her aware of this.As far as his dementia, why would you all let him drive to the restaurant twice a day? I myself am here almost everyday and sometimes sit with him. He is a funny and wonderful man. He loves the staff and hugs all of them before he leaves. And myself. So your review is distasteful and wrong. Gets your facts straight before you try and ruin a business!“

“Their service and food continues to be one of the best in WNY! We happily drive about 30 minutes away for their fish fry. Small wait on Fridays of course. Same everywhere for Lent. “The ice cream was quite good! Soft serve and good ole Perry's hard in SuperHero for the wee one. The walk up service was efficient and helpers were working as a team. I was impressed by the tip jar writing- in this time of tip burnout- where it said on the mason jar tips appreciated, not expected. The hot fudge sundae we three tried was hands above Anderson's (where roast beef is specialty). Pautler's is a terrific family fast food place with a great casual atmosphere - seating to suit any family: indoors, or outdoors at a bistro setting or picnic tables around a huge playground. The playground was far enough away for screaming kids to delight without interfering with diners. It would be a good place for young families with kids to meet up and where everyone would leave happy.“

“New location, different vibe, but still a great atmosphere with delicious food. It's a pig place, but don't be fooled by the name. Vegetarians can eat very happily alongside their meat-loving family and friends. The Masala cauliflower risotto was lovely and satisfying. There is no rush and the staff are wonderful. Highly recommend for upscale dining. Definitely need to go back. Looking forward to getting through their menu.Parking: Crowded, but available.“

“What a great dinner I just shared with a friend! The whole idea of this restaurant is based on Anthony Bourdain's quote about sharing food with friends. And share we did! We split the oysters, parmesan truffle fries, the Tuscan flatbread, and the impossible sliders. We also each got a glass of wine. (No sharing that lol) The food was delicious, and the wine was fantastic, the service was best of all! We got lots of recommendations and suggestions, and we were well taken care of. I was delighted to see that almost everything was able to be gluten free! I had a lot of tasty options to choose from. Overall, we had a great time, and I plan to go back with my fiancé. The experience we shared would have been great for a date.“

“During a very difficult time for our family, Tracy and Jess went above and beyond to provide a beautiful breakfast tray of sandwiches with both regular and gluten free bread, bagels, cream cheese and more. “Another stop on our wing trail trip. These were my least favorite. The buffalo wings were a bit on the dry side. The parmesan wings were well coated with cheese but still a bit dry. The size of the wings was good, but they were severely overpriced. The other food on the menu seemed more reasonable and the plates coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled good. The bartenders were extremely nice and helpful. The place in general had a good vibe. If we were local this would be somewhere we would go back to, just not for the wings.“

“I was recommended Sean Patrick's by family, so I decided to try it out. Overall, it was fine, and really, my only gripe was an obnoxious party filled with loud children screaming nearby. The staff clearly looked annoyed with them, so I think it wasn't something last minute and totally out of their hands. The food was good, I enjoyed the shepherd's pie and drink prices are very reasonable as well. Not to be taken negatively, but it seems like most of the crowd were older, so it's probably a quiet and easygoing atmosphere any other night. Our server was balancing a few tables and the party guests, but she was handling it very well and got our drinks and food to us in a timely manner. I'd recommend people to try it out.“

“This food was incredible!! You get so much food for what you pay for. I got the small Greek salad and that could easily feed two people as a starter salad or one person (plus potentially leftovers) for dinner. All of the ingredients were so fresh and tasty. The gyro I ordered was also amazing and I even ate it a day old (don't tell the owners - I'm sure they would be disappointed ;) ) because I was in a rush and it was still absolutely incredible. I need to find my way back to town to have this again!!“

“So — firstly I have to say — this is one of the few cash-only places remaining in the area. If you’re local & use KeyBank, there is an ATM in the Tops Plaza up the street. Make sure you know that going in so you don’t have to pay ATM fees (although they have one in the restaurant!).Honestly, this place has more “diner” vibes that a typical hot dog place in Buffalo — it reminds me of the old Louie’s that used to be on Transit in Depew. Above average but not jaw-dropping good, decent prices, and a wide variety of choices. For what it is, this place is a gem. If you’re going and expecting something high-class, fancy, etc, then don’t go!But in my opinion it’s a great local place & also should be considered somewhat of a diner — good diners are few and far between especially in the suburbs of Buffalo, so give it a try!“

“My brother and I eat here every Saturday. We just love the French dip sandwich. I get the sweet potato fries with it. I eat half while there, and take the rest home for another meal during the week. I've had a few of their other menu options - which are very good... however, Mike and I are addicted to the French Dip (appropriate... French Road, French Pub, French Dip!) He goes there 2 or 3 times during the week all by himself (he's a widower.) He enjoys an alcoholic beverage with his meal. We discovered this place about a year ago - now it is on our regular rotation. The waitresses are always efficient and friendly, the bus boys are even attentive and on the ball. Atmosphere is casual, but clean and welcoming. I can recommend this place without any reservations... ok, bad pun... Try it! Hope you enjoy it as much as we do!“

“I can't believe what I'm reading on some of these reviews and think it must be a Buffalo problem. Blaine, Joella and all the folks in the Tempe location are first rate. They treat me right every time I come in, and the hot dogs are the best anywhere. Love the rings. My daughter loves the shakes. And even the fountain drinks are spot on with carbonation, which these days is saying something. Big hat tip to Tempe Ted's.“

“Our first time. We're "locals". We will DEFINITELY be frequenting! Had the Shep' Pie. Let me just say, mmm mmm MMM! The beef just melted and the sauce was exquisite! The veggies were perfectly cooked and everything was seasoned JUST RIGHT! No extra salt OR pepper needed!!! Other party members ENJOYED the thinger tenders, and thinger sandwich. (* explanation below)Their list of sauces is just WOW! It can be found on the chalkboard on the wall. ;) The fries, fresh cut of course (delightfully, a common theme of the menu!) Soups were PIPING hot! Also very, VERY good! We will definitely return and sample other items. * - Thinger - the are fresh made and not prepackaged. Party members indicated it was dark meat (thighs) or maybe a 50/50? I can not personally attest to that.“

“Ordered a large pizza from there today. I have previously ordered chicken finger subs (which were delicious) and today brought home a pizza for lunch. The girl taking the order was super helpful with the questions I had and very nice when I came in to pick it up. The sauce isn't overly sweet like other places and you get plenty on the pizza. It's dough-y enough for my liking - one of the best little spots I have found so far.“

“We gathered for a party. There were over 50 people, outside at there tiki bar area, and outdoor seating. The bar tender did her best to keep up with orders of food and drink. The roast beef was absolutely delicious. The prices for everything are very reasonable. “We were in the area for a 2 night concert at Bills Stadium. We had purchased the tickets last fall as a wedding gift to one another so we decided to book at a B&B vs a tradtional hotel as sort of a "half year" anniversary gift.We arrived and were greeted by the very pleasant Innkeeper who was also the chef. He showed us to our room which was beautiful and had a deck off the bedroom suite. My husband is a huge animal lover so seeing a red fox as soon in the distance as he opened the door was a bonus. The entire Inn is beautifully set up and decorated with a cozy atmosphere. The room was large with old world charm met with modern day amenities as well. The breakfast was served daily in their adorable dining room and each meal was very well prepared. The Inn was close enough to dining locally with easy access to Buffalo. We also enjoyed the large flea market just down the road. We will definitely be coming back to the area and will be booking here again.Nearby activities: there is a very large indoor/outdoor flea market nearby with LOTS of vendors.Food & drinks: The Inn is closely located near an Italian restaurant and a Mexican restaurant. We did notice many other small eateries nearby also“

“The gluten-free pizza was very good. The crust was the thinner type so I'm not sure they make it but it was actually very tasty. It wasn't a thick fluffy pan pizza Detroit style crust but it did taste very good. My partner got regular pizza and he loved it. I like their sauce it wasn't too sweet but it still had some sweetness. The wings or meaty. We got extra sauce and it definitely was very saucy what you really like. Definitely will be going back! The only sad thing I am one of those weirdos who likes ham pineapple and mild pepper rings on my pizza. They don't have pineapple and mild pepper rings.“

“Located in a strip plaza off Millersport Highway, Elmo's has been a reliable spot for lunch or dinner for at least 40 years that I can remember. They are as good today as they were in the 1980's, they remained open during Covid, and the quality has remained solid. Whereas chicken wings at most other establishments have been getting smaller in recent years, Elmo's continues to serve large, plump wings cooked exactly as you like them. In my case, I like them extra crispy with medium sauce. Their chili as they prepare and serve it is mild, but they will bring hot sauce to your table so you can make it as aggressive as you'd like. Their burgers are a decent size, they cook it exactly as you order it, and they are generous with the lettuce tomatoes and onions. For a dollar upgrade you can get onion rings instead of fries on the side and the onion rings are quite good. They don't have a huge selection of beers, but the beer they do carry is served, icy cold, in appropriate glasses, and their inventory turns over quickly, so you know you're getting fresh product. The bartenders mix a decent drink, not overflowing with ice. The restrooms are more than adequate. They have a dartboard for the patrons to use and very attentive waitresses and bus staff. They charge slightly less if you pay in cash. I have never been disappointed at Elmo's.“

“Tried some wings from Marvin's for the first time last night and they were awesome! We tried the medium and honey garlic, both were crispy and delicious. These are probably the best wings I've found in the Clarence/Williamsville/Amherst area. The ambiance is your typical dive bar. They have some TVs, a pool table, darts, a little outside patio. The bartender was super friendly. Saw a sign for live music once a week, and they also have fish fry's on Fridays. I'm sure I will be back!“
