“We've been to the Farmhouse a number of times. We went last night for my mother in law's birthday. I forgot to take a picture of our food. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Their food changes pretty seasonally so they always have variety. This time I went with their burger, and it was delicious! I think it's the first time I've had the burger. The meat was delicious and the local bun was a nice touch. For my drink I got the Farmhouse Spritz ,which I'm pretty sure I get every time but it was even better than usual last night. They have a good selection of local beers. My husband got the Hangover sandwich which had fried egg and pork belly. He said it was delicious!“

“I've been going there for years. Is the food a Michelin Star quality? Nope. But it's good for what it is. The turkey is top-notch. The staff are lovely. The views sitting outside are the best. Remember this is a restaurant that services a golf club and its food should be compared to country club food (notoriously bad by the way at most clubs) they do a very good job compared to their peers.“

“I'd prefer to say this place is terrible so we can continue to get the take-out slots we need, but I can't. Marisa's is the best pizza we've had in years, including the last 10 years we were in Brooklyn. Granted, 2 of those years were pandemic years, and we just didn't go out, and we never went back to Totonno's after it burned down, and we gave up on di Fara's when it became such a hipster lawn-chair tourist production, but our neighborhood spots were good. Two of them were, anyway (we also stopped going to Beverly after the crust fiasco). Anyway, Marisa's is heaven, full stop. I dream of the day we feel secure going out to a sit-down-inside place and trying everything else on the menu. Their crust is magnificent, their sauce is spectacular, and the topping ingredients are truly lovely. But you do have to call early to get the take-out slot you want; no crying and whinging that you had to wait two hours for your pizza. It's also not cheap, so no complaining about that. Read the instructions on the website, then respect the owners enough to do as they say. Do it. Do it now. Call them. They're only open 4 days a week, and we're lucky to get them that much. I already regret writing this review bc a) I now really want pizza, and b) if you're smart, you've already called and taken our preferred time for pickup.“

“Been going here for years and hope to make it decades! Great is an understatement! All I saw was smiling faces and great looking pizza pies! I ended up with two gigantic pepperoni slices— but my family ordered two other pizzas later for dinner, both of which were highly enjoyed during our movie night!Thank you for all the great food!“

“My bride's family are generational customers of the original Orchard Tavern. I've been going since the late '70s after football games at Bleeker Stadium. The present owner has expanded to this new site on Western Ave (formerly Dorado's) in front of Star Plaza. A lot of renovations inside - new bar, open floor plan, bright & airy. They also have the big room on the side for events & parties. We had a drink at the bar as we waited for her brother & sister-n-law. Friendly bartender (short in stature - no name given, no name tag. People at the did have apps in front of them. When we were all present we were seated immediately. I missed the waitperson name - sorry. As per tradition the go it was Orchard pizza & chix wings. First the pizza - original style Orchard pizza which is a thin, crispy, 10 cut. They start at $10. for a cheese pizza -your choice of 18 toppings are $1.50 each. They also have white, vegetarian, & 12 speciality pizzas, such as buffalo chicken & shrimp scampi. We had three pizza at our table, half taken home. Wings are $13. for 10 in seven flavors w/ celery & blue cheese. Always consistently tasty and always cooked correctly - crispy skin and cooked through to the bone. Great job. NOTE: On your actual birthday the Orchard will treat you to a wing for each year of your age (in house only).I went for something different. I ordered a Philly cheese steak ($13). When it came out it looked fine to me, but the owner came over and said it was not the way he told his staff to make it. He offered to make a new one but I was OK w/ this one. Maybe it was the cheese on the bottom instead of on top? Flavor was great though. The owner came back, apologised again, and said he was taking my sandwich off the bill. That's how you take care of your customers. Excellent customer service from ownership down to all employees. This is how you get a loyal customer following. Thank you.We had beer & wine w/ our dinner. Full service bar is available.Hours are 12pm-8pm everyday. Family friendly dining. We will be back soon and thanks again for the great service. You should be proud.Nick & Liz, Albany, NYKid-friendliness: Family friendly. Dining area separate from bar.Wheelchair accessibility: They have wheelchair accessibility from parking into restaurant.“

“This place is very much not closed. New ownership since COVID so I don't think "Maria's" is in the name anymore it's just Tailgate. New owner is a ]nice young guy and customer service is good. This is a neighborhood townie type place which has it's charm. The clientele will be throwing around a lot of salty language late at night but it's mostly 50 plus so any bar fight is more likely to be comical than dangerous. Now down to the what's important. The wings are amazing and the home made blue cheese is incredible. I won't go anywhere else for wings in Guilderland. People I've come with have all been satisfied with their meals (burgers, nachos, salads etc.). Beer/drink selection and price are standard for a neighborhood bar. Even though there is a no frills vibe the interior was recently redone and it's nice and clean.... this isn't exactly a dive bar. Stop in for the great wings and you'll more than likely meet some fun characters while enjoying your quality meal.“

“Nice little pizza place to pick up pizza or dinner to dine in for a quick meal. There are a few tables to sit at to enjoy your meal or wait for your pizza. Clean work area you can see from the front counter. Work staff is very pleasant and polite. The pizza was very good and the service was fast also. If you enjoy pizza like I do, I would say give this place a try. They also have a few more things you can order on the menu.“
“We made a reservation for The Fountain Restaurant on Fri 1/13/23 for 5:30pm.This place is always busy. And has been a neighborhood go to for many years. The Romano family has won their customers' loyalty with great service & consistently good pizza. We were early and there were two seats open at the bar. So the bartender Tony moved our reservation to there. The bar works nicely for us here. Thanks Tony. We ordered a wine ($7) & a local craft beer,Jack's Abbey on draft ($9) while we looked over the menu. The Fountain makes great pizza, but tonight just wasn't a pizza night for us. My bride had a small Caesar salad w/ chicken ($10) right size for her. The large is not an exaggeration. I had the caprese sandwich-Fresh Mozzarella, Tomato, Basil, EVOO & Balsamic Glaze on Ciabatta bread ($11) Note: you can add chicken breast or eggplant for $4. more. Very good sandwich. In my opinion, this sandwich would be even better w/ some pesto spread on the ciabatta. Still a very good dining experience. Hours: Tues-Thurs 11:30AM-10:30PM (Kitchen Closes) Fri-Sat 11:30AM-11PM (Kitchen Closes) Sunday 12:00PM-10PM (Kitchen Closes) Closed Monday Street parking is at a premium but there is public parking behind the restaurant. Thanks again to Tony & all for another great visit. Nick Parisi & Liz Farrell, Albany, NY“

“First time trying blaze pizza and I was blown away by the amazing service. Every single employee was extremely kind, detail-oriented, and clearly cared about the customer satisfaction. Pizza was great, and I was even offered free cheesy bread because they had made a mistake on a different order. Highly recommend this location.“
