“This place is a fascinating gem. I don't know what the building was used for originally, but it's a very charming warren of rough wood rooms with quirky but well-suited decor. And the food is exceptional. Frickles (fried pickles and banana peppers), fish & chips, and the Guinness pot roast were all delicious, served hot and quickly, despite the place being packed. Definitely worth a stop or, if you're in the area, add it to your list of go-tos.“

“Eddie F’s makes me feel like I’m back in Maine! Lots of seafood options, but I always go for the hot lobster roll and one of their chowders. Tried the lobster clam chowder this time - delicious! They have plenty of seating inside or outside. Friendly staff, family owned, good atmosphere!“

“On Friday, while myself and the group I was with were driving home to Buffalo from Boston, we stopped at dinosaur BBQ for dinner. The food was delicious and the service was great. I got home and realized I left my purse in Troy, NY which is approximately a 4 and a half hour drive one way. I called the restaurant to ask if I left it, which I did. The lovely worker said she would talk to her boss the next day and took my number down. The next morning, Thomas called me and asked where to mail my purse too. I received it today with EVERYTHING still in it. There are good people in this world and thank you to the workers and management at the Troy Dinosaur BBQ. ❤️“

“I ordered take out for dinner last night. Kind of a big order. Four hibachi combos for myself and family. The man on the phone was nice and patiently took all orders. It was our first time there so we didn’t have any expectations. The food upon bringing it home was packaged very neatly and was still hot! Everything was delicious! chicken and steak combos were cooked how we asked; mild, but nice flavor and not dry. My son got shrimp combo and that was good too. I love love love that the veggies were soft and flavorful. Noodles and rice were also very good. We didn’t get the two shrimp appetizer, but that’s ok. Portion sizes were good, ate the whole meal in one sitting because it was that good. Prices are a little bit up there, but fair for hibachi in my opinion. Definitely will be repeat customers, hopefully it stays just as good!“

Relaxed atmosphere- we’ve eaten both inside and out in the garden, which is hidden from the street and a nice surprise to find after walking through the black gates. “This was a cute place to have a light breakfast. We had gotten the raspberry waffle dish and it was delicious. The waffle was flavorful and we had a tea with it which tied everything together. The atmosphere was nice and I believe that this is a hidden jem in downtown Troy. I will definitely come here again! ?“

“This place is so nice and the guy they had out front was awesome. Very friendly and good at making conversation that was appropriate for the situation. As soon as we walked in I could smell how good this place was going to be. The overall atmosphere was a really nice mix of casual and more upscale. Very nice seating arrangements and I loved the nice blue fake fire place. I would definitely recommend them. We also went during a time when it was not very busy about 4pm yet there were still a handful of tables full despite the unpopular time.“

“Melanie is a phenomenal baker! She made us a beautiful wedding cake twice!! And also some strawberry shortcakes for desserts for our wedding guests! And also some lemon blueberry tarts for my rehearsal dinner! All gf and df for my allergies! Can’t recommend her enough for all your baking needs.
