“Chez Mike doesn't disappoint. Often when my husband picks me up at the train station we have dinner there. The cocktails, food and service were as good or better than my meals in NYC and a great value for fine dining in the Capital District. Our server, Cameron, was friendly and attentive even when the place really filled up. Two delicious cocktails, a glass of wine, two appetizers, an entree and dessert were under $120. I actually like the strip mall vibe on the outside hiding the awesomeness inside. Chez Mike is a real find.”

“Super stylish and elegant SoHo-worthy dining room in tiny Kinderhook, NY. Sort of Asian fusion cooking, very fresh vegetables and imaginative small plates to share. Cauliflower was a favorite, Jasmine rice too. Can get noisy as the night wears on!”

“We just ordered for the first time today… our order accidentally got messed up and the owner realized it and called us after it was delivered and they delivered the entire correct order without us even having to ask… he insisted they make it right! Great customer service and obviously the pizza was really great too!! Definitely recommend :)”

“I would give 100 stars if I could! I go here at least once a week sometimes more. Such a large variety and excellent quality ingredients! One of my favorites is the turkey cranberry Panini. Where else can you get turkey cooked right there in their own oven. I do not like deli meat, which is one of the reasons why I come here! Everything is so fresh and cooked right there. My husband and I get their salads once a week and this says a lot because my husband is not a salad person. He likes the Italian mix salad because it’s everything he would get on a sub without the bread. I would list everything I like here but this review would be pages long. I read some of these other reviews and wonder what planet these individuals are from because anyone giving a negative review is either at a different place or has nothing else better to do than write fake complaints. During Covid this was the only place I would eat because it was that clean! The owner truly cares as does the entire staff! Aside of excellent quality food, this is the only establishment I know that gives back to the community in every way possible. Keep doing what you’re doing guys! We love you!”

“We eat here at least once a month. The serving sizes are quite good. Good bang for your buck! Our sever is very friendly and prompt. It's a dinner, nothing special on the inside except the food! The place is clean and comfortable.”

“Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Got a beer flight, house made hummus and the smokey grilled cheese. The grilled cheese had ham and mustard and was perfectly paired with smoked scamorza cheese on sourdough.”

“I love this cafe’s lighting and drinks. I enjoy the food but a personal take, I wish they would make the whole menu gluten free since it looks like they would only have to switch to an alternative bread and granola to do so. Their mocha donuts are delicious.”

Their farm-fresh offerings are locally sourced & community-driven (you can literally SEE the farm from your table!). “We're regulars—for good reason. The staff is always attentive, remembers where we like to sit, and pours our drinks without having to ask. The food is consistently well prepared and delicious. The menu has just changed for spring and we're delighted by what we've experienced so far: an outstanding antipasto and the best spaghetti vongole I've eaten anywhere (including Italy). “Stopped in here during a long road trip from Stowe VT to Harrisburg PA. Previous outstanding reviews are spot on...this place is EXCELLENT! We all had the Smokin' Pig sandwich... YUMMY!!! The meat was flavored so good without having to be smothered with BBQ sauce. It had the perfect amount of sauce. Our sides of cole slaw and baked beans were also EXCELLENT! The gentleman who took our order was super nice and provided great service. We will certainly be back our next trip through.”

“To start off the atmosphere is very refreshing and upbeat. It also is very clean. I got the soft shell crab to start with and it was a great portion on top of being delicious. I also got the 3 fish sushi tacos and let me tell you, I am a sushi connoisseur and they were delightful. The tortillas were the perfect thinness and the flavors popped in the tacos. It was honestly everything I could want or except in a raw taco. Owner was very nice and enjoyed our conversation. I totally recommend this place!”

“Stopped in for lunch. I am from outta state and wasn't expecting much, they blew me away the service was so wonderful very friendly and very good at there job. The prices are amazing (especially considering it's in NY where everything is overpriced) They have a huge menu with all the normal comfort foods but also have some things that's unique. I actually ordered Meatloaf Parm not only had I never tried it before but had never heard of it before. It was amazing and you get huge portions with a soup or salad . I recommend this place100%”

“Best pizza within a 30 mile radius. The owner is a stand up guy and they always over-deliver. Delivery drivers are very polite. The order that arrives is always the same as what I ordered. Great place with great customer service and amazing food!”

“Delicious coffee with friendly service! My friend and I are photographers and stayed the night after working a wedding. The next morning we stopped in for coffee and a quick bite before heading back to the city and are so happy we did!She got an iced matcha latte with lavender sweet cream with a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. I got a cold brew with vanilla sweet cream and a pepperoni croissant. All was fresh and delicious!”

I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel compelled as the food was great, in large portions, and the pizza is something that I have not stopped thinking about. The waitress was incredibly friendly too and it added to the loving ambiance that comes the feeling of a family owned restaurant. It’s nice to see that a family business has been open for as long as it has! The salad’s were fresh, and thankfully they sell the dressing by the bottle because I kept wanting more. The decor could use some updating. The Grecian painting on the walls looks like it’s been there since the 80’s.”

“This was my first time here. I wanted to enjoy a buffet and was not sure where to go. I am glad that I did choose this establishment. The service was great from the time you walked in the door to the time you walked out. The verity of food choices on the buffet were good as well, fresh and hot. The wait staff and kitchen staff are very polite. The dining area was nice and clean. Bathrooms were nice and clean, too. Which is always a plus.Parking: Used the parking on the left side of the building plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: They had room in the parking lot for wheelchair parking. “Came here with two of my close friends for the first time for brunch and a few yummy chai lattes and all three of us loved it! We will be returning for sure. Food was reasonably priced, deliciously simple and looked beautiful upon arrival to our table. Compliments to the chef! Staff was kind and always had a smile. The bonus is that this perfectly quaint cafe is attached to this beautiful little gift shop that’s perfect for finding one of a kind gifts for loved ones. Don’t pass this place up its bound to satisfy!”
