“Great service from the very beginning. Food was excellent, but my favorite part was dessert! Apple crumble and tiramisu. I think our server was the bartender and he was amazing! There was a wonderful woman (server) walking around making sure we were also doing well. Super sweet!“

“Great view, and great staff, there were always long lines for the 2 bathrooms though. I also do NOT recommend the margaritas, they are pre-batched with some nasty mixers. Stick to the 1&1 (vodka soda, gin tonic etc), or beer. Our friends did order the burger, and it looked and smelled amazing.“

“This dive bar is simply the best. It is not a flashy, new concept type of bar. When I walked in, I had this bizarre, deja vu experience where it felt like home. It felt like I had already been there a thousand times before and everyone was an old friend. The drinks are cheap and they are served with love. “LOVE this place. I don't come often, but every time I have, I've had a great experience. Chicken fingers are pretty great ?, and bartender Sean (not Shaun or God forbid Shawn ?) is super friendly and makes awesome drinks! I've sat outside, and the service out there is awesome, too! “Small place with great flavors. We had the soy garlic wings which were delicious and had lots of meat on them. The squid fries were wonderful. The corn cheese was very good just needed something to scoop them up with for which I used the crust from the delicious shrimp pizza.

“We had an 11:15 brunch reservation. We arrived a little early. Johnny was there cleaning the floors. Nobody was in the restaurant. He was just starting his new job that day, and he was not really familiar with the menu and answers to our questions. BUT, he was terrific. He went and got answers from the kitchen and everything came out fine. Until others came in, he was a one man band. You are lucky to have him!“

“I love a good wine with my meal. That being said outside of a high end restraunt I have been no place in the area where the house sommelier picks the selection of wine like Saints and Scholars. You would have to buy a bottle if even then to get the quality of their house serve alone. I could write a book on the menu, not a bad choice to be found, but I will stop here. If you adore a good glass with a beautiful dinner/ brunch with exceptional service. Look no further.“

“Overall a great place to visit on a sunny day out or with colleagues after work. She was extremely kind about it and not rude at all- even asked me for a back up drink in case they couldn't modify my first choice. My waitress modified one of the drinks I requested due to a personal allergy. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Great place to come by for some food and drinks if you are in the area.“

“This is a nice pub that seems to cater to locals. I had Ryan's burger and a few beers. The burger was really very good. The beers were fresh, the staff was nice enough. It's your typical old school neighborhood pub with really good burgers. Parking is a bit of a hassle though, so be warned.“

I'm pretty sure the Brad Lander for Mayor social event got cancelled today (5/30/25); these things have small turnout, & maybe don't add much to the discussion. I came here anyway to have a refreshing beer in honor of a candidate whose ideas 💡, career, & intestinal fortitude seem to be quite refreshing in American politics. I've definitely never been in this fine bar 🍻 before, & I can't remember the last time I walked on this block. I still think you should rank Lander first 🥇🏆 in the upcoming NYC mayoral primary election (June 24, 2025).“

“An absolute gem in the neighborhood. There's a good food menu with great variety and an even better drinks menu. I highly recommend getting the pina colada as it comes with a _fantastic_ little speech (iykyk) warning you about having more than one. The staff are all so incredibly friendly and attentive. You never wait long for a drink or a check - in! They've also got a lively calendar with karaoke nights, open mic nights and watch-parties. Highly recommend :)“

“I’ve been to The Blvd three times now and every single time has been a great experience. The food is always delicious, the drinks are strong (they definitely don’t skimp on the liquor), and the vibes are always on point. On weekends, they have DJs and sometimes host different events, which makes it even better. It’s one of those spots you can count on for good energy, good music, and a solid meal every time. Definitely a go-to in the Bronx.
