“I've been coming here for about a Month now, and the food can be Hit or Miss it's honestly on your Type of Taste. I like to try things and Hope for the best. So far I'm about 70/30 with this spot. Very nice owner and staff is amazing in my experience. Cash is King but so is taxes when credit is involved. They open at 6am and the food is made fresh. The Soup is great and the Oatmeal. My favorite is the Sausage Egg and cheese on a Croissant 🥐. And They also do Breakfast all day. But let's just say I'm not a Salad guy, the dressing was a bit tasteless and a lot of Red onions, I want that breath after lunch 😂, but that's part of the Greek Salad. Had a unique thing wrapped in I think spinach not sure what was in it. But I ate most of it. Let's just say I will stick with my usual and stop going off of someone's spontaneous lunch suggestion. The saving grace was the shish kabob added to the Salad with the Pita bread.“

“Stopped by on a lazy Sunday afternoon and ended up enjoying one of the most comforting meals I’ve had in a while. The tortilla soup completely stole the show — rich, flavorful, perfectly thick, and packed with crispy blue corn tortilla pieces in every bite. Honestly wished they had a bigger bowl because it disappeared fast.

Tried the bean & epazote tetelas on the side and they paired so well with the soup. Also shared the black bean avocado tlayudita and chilaquiles — both fresh, satisfying, and full of flavor. The chilaquiles do get a bit pricey once you add the extras, but the taste made it worth it for us.

Came around 2 PM on a Sunday and still found outdoor seating easily, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and unhurried. Great food, warm atmosphere, and one of those places you leave already thinking about coming back to.“

We tried the soup and open sandwich deal - trying all three different soups - Lentil, butternut squash, and mushrooms, all were amazing and would recommend. “This is a 10/10 breakfast spot. I’ve never had Nepalese food before, and Cafe Catmandoo blew me away. I had the Catmandoo Breakfast special and I’m not usually a fan of chickpeas but I ate the ENTIRE thing. Staff is very friendly, they accommodated our large party of 9 people within 10-15 minutes. “I get the hype, I really do. Stepped into land to sea on a bustling Sunday morning and it did not disappoint.

I got the salted honey latte and the ham & cheese bolo bao with chili oil. FIREEE. Lines form but they move quick and I was able to find seating fairly easily since I went solo.“

“Came in on a Sunday afternoon and had a pleasant experience. They have fast, free wifi and reasonable drink prices. I opted for the iced matcha latte (per usual), and they sweetened it with honey for free which was nice. The matcha was very smooth and yummy.

I felt so bad because I spilled my drink when moving seats to get closer to an outlet, and there was still at least half of the drink left. They kindly cleaned up the mess and even made me another drink, despite me insisting it was okay. Really appreciated it :)

Solid spot to work from home, as there were several others also on their computers. I also really appreciate that they don’t have a laptop weekend policy, which is pretty rare! Definitely would come back to support“

“Miss Barbs is a Crown Heights establishment of the highest degree.

Their coffee and pastries are my favorites in the area, and it's a great space to hang out or work.

All the staff is super friendly and the owners are just the best.

My favorite thing about Miss Barbs is how integrated they are with the community. They run events all the time, and they're all super fun, like the spelling bee or the trash pick-up days or the little markets.

They've also got great vibes at night and it's an awesome place to get a glass of wine or two. Karaoke is my favorite thing ever and sometimes they've got a karaoke night. You can check their insta for the calendar of events.

“My first time here I had the combo with half chicken salad sandwich and chestnut and mushroom soup. It sounded very earthy, but everything was light and delicate, and very flavorful with well balanced seasonings. My iced Cortado was also very good. The half and half combo made an excellent lunch. It looked like the whole sandwiches were generous portions. Bright and spacious and casual atmosphere.“

My father and I had the Madeline which was excellent. The server was really efficient and friendly. The place is immaculately clean. I grabbed their iced cold matcha alongside the double sausage sandwich with everything on it, and honestly, both delivered. The front area runs a bit tight, but there are a few tables tucked in the back where you can sit down and take your time.
