“My mom's been raving about this spot, so it was our first stop in town! The decor is impeccable with beautiful, meaningful details, and the vibe is EVERYTHING. I love that they have high chairs for toddlers—many upscale places miss that mark. Our server Jerome was so helpful, and Matthew was super kind when we chatted. We tried the Montego Bay, Hugp Spritz, Rum Punch, and Island Float, and all the drinks were a 10/10! The food was also really good. I wasn't a huge fan of the trio tacos because there was minimal fried shrimp and I didn't like the plantain just sitting on top, but the flavor was amazing nonetheless, just needed more shrimp. The coconut shrimp were a 10/10, and the plantain cups are really good, they just need to be filled more.“

“157 Tavern has been a staple in the area for 10 years and is an excellent choice for parties or group gatherings. You can simply provide them with your budget, and they will curate the menu for you, which makes the planning process very convenient.

Regarding the food:

Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.

Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.

King Salmon: Quite tender.

Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.

Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.

Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

They were so accommodating with all of our requests and our guests were raving about the cocktails and the atmosphere. “As soon as I walk in, I got automatically seated at the bar by the host and Megan, my bartender gave me the menu (dinner and happy hour) with her warming customer service hospitality.

The interior of the bar is so dope with the neon light with television for sports. They also have a DJ booth for music. I will recommend people to check this place and enjoy their time in the scenery!“

“We really liked this lounge, one of the best business lounges we have been to. It was quiet when we visited and a large part of it was inaccessible due to construction for an upgrade. However, the lounge was very comfortable. The food quality and selection was excellent. The service was very friendly, I remember a particular friendly host that made sure everyone had everything they needed.“

The ambience was fine and the noise was loud but I put medium because in the middle of the experience it sounded like a fuse blew and the tvs and sound system and the lights went out and then all the ambient lighting effects and the music went out for the rest of our dining experience.Saving grace was that the food and the drinks were good. “Our room was comfortable, spacious, and light with lovely retro-mod furnishings. The service team for both the room and the lobby restaurant were top notch - and our waiter even entertained my nine year old with magic tricks! The Central Park south location was perfect for us since it was only a 10 minute walk to the playground and space to run around. And guess what - when I realized after check out that I’d left something behind, the hotel staff retained it in their lost and found and even sent it to me. Fantastic service like this in every area is a rarity these days, and it’s so nice to have a stay with a hotel that takes it to heart. We look forward to our next visit!“

“I landed upon this establishment late night and realized their Happy Hour is from 3-11 monday through sunday ; I thought it couldn’t get better but i was greeted with a warm smile by Jelly ( our bartender) . She then proceeded to let me in onto the price of the wings and they were a 10/10.
