“Izumi's Hibachi is so goooood! The Filet Mignon is filled with so much flavor and they cook it well! They made sure our reservation was kept and they sat all of us in a nice section. Our cook was fun and interactive. Their Blood Orange margaritas are so yummy and indubitably-charged!!! I liked my experience a lot. Every hibachi place has their own niche, and for me, this one was their atmosphere, the teriyaki sauce, and the undoubtedly-fresh sushi! ?It doesn't beat my ultimate favorite Hibachi place but it was nice to try something different!“

“Teriyaki Express has been around for a long time, but recently as of Feb this year they're under new ownership. The new owner are so friendly and they make you feel like they're you're friends and you're coming over to eat at their house. I got a spicy tuna roll & salmon avocado roll with spicy mayo. I love that their fish is always really fresh with their rice is so warm and fragrant and perfectly cooked. Their food is always so satisfying. Their spicy tuna is actually spicy, and they don't fill it with tempura filler, it's mostly fish and sauce. They're family owned by a lovely couple, and it makes me happy to see them all the time. “Sakura is a hidden gem and hands down my favorite sushi spot in the Hauppauge/Smithtown area. It’s a small, family owned restaurant, and Maggie and her husband go above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome. They’re always so kind and attentive, which adds a personal touch you don’t often find.

The food here is incredible. Every dish is packed with flavor and always fresh. My absolute favorite is the shumai soup it’s my go to comfort food. Their torched rolls are consistently amazing, and when I’m looking for something on the lighter side, the diet roll is a great low-carb option.

Also worth mentioning: the fried rice is generous and perfect for sharing, and the crab salad is a must-try so refreshing and flavorful.
I come here for the quality of the food. If you’re in the area and love sushi, Sakura is a must-try.“

“My wife and I walked in for dinner without a reservation maybe two months ago at around 6:30 on a Saturday. Since the wait was a bit longer than usual we were kindly given a plate of Edamame on the house. That's when we noticed that our server was working the entire dining room by herself after another called in sick last-minute.Being short staffed is a challenge on any night but this was a packed house on Saturday night with a large number of take-out orders flowing and the team stepped up with impressive dexterity. Given the circumstances mistakes can happen but we didn't notice any.Our meals were delicious, creative and beautiful. We've since returned several times for the great food but the real triumph that night was how well everyone in the front house performed.

“Very delicious Teriyaki. We used to go to a place in Massapequa but moved out here and was very reluctant to try something new. We couldn’t be happier. There are at least three places in the food court that have chicken teriyaki but this one has them beat hands down. The line is always long because clearly they’re the beat but no worries it moves very quickly and the food isn’t a long wait either. I get double chicken teriyaki with noodles vegetables extra sauce and hot sauce. Yum!“

“My husband and I go to Wild Ginger every Friday for lunch . I get the chicken pad thai with extra peanuts and peanut sauce on the side. My husband usually gets the sushi. We enjoy the Thai iced tea and the friendly service. We walk in and everyone welcomes us and knows exactly what we want. Great staff and service. Highly recommend you go!“
