“Super unique meal! We love love loved the food here and really enjoyed everything we ate. One star down because another patron was clearly over-served and was being rowdy and loud, but was still getting drinks and none of the staff asked her to be quiet. When I’m spending this kind of money, I would have liked the overall atmosphere to be a little less like a frat party.

But back to the food - we hadn’t heard of many things on the menu but we were feeling adventurous and so glad we did! This is your sign to try things without googling them. Just trust this chef - they know what they are doing. Our favorites were the whipped mackerel and lobster tostadas. Both were so fresh and clean and light (but still filling). Good portion sizes for tapas style. Beautiful plating. Really fun and unique meal!

The food is delicious- good for all types of diet restrictions. Fresh ingredients well prepared. Last but not least also great cocktails. Host and server were friendly and attentive. The wait was not long to get a table and the service was prompt, professional, courteous, and didn’t leave us in want of anything. All of our needs were met. This place has A.C. amazing after walking around all day sightseeing.
Food was delicious especially the Szechuan spicy chicken, fyi doesn't come in a sauce. Scallion pancake was very tasty, as was the chicken soup dumplings. Definitely recommend this place.“

I will say my only complaint is we felt a little rush towards the end and that surprised us since the place was no where near closing nor was it busy.“

“A truly delightful dining experience with small plates that don’t disappoint. We particularly loved the tartare, with finely diced tomato and a well balanced ginger sesame dressing. It’s hard to believe that the words “great beet hummus” but trust me! Also the persimmon salad with yuzu yogurt - wow. We also really enjoyed the play on a bagel and cream cheese for dessert - very fun and a great punch of flavors with the homemade strawberry jam. Will def return!

Definitely get the Peking duck; they cut the duck in front of you and display it really nicely. The Juqi fried rice is also really cool and represents the coal stoves of the past. 10/10 recommend this place, especially for large parties.“
