My only complaint was that for a restaurant at that price point (but honestly, I would feel the same at any price point) - I was completely shocked to discover that the side of mashed potatoes I ordered were INSTANT and not real potatoes! I don’t know that I’ve ever been served instant before, even at chain restaurants. Despite that, the rest of my meal was tasty though.“

“My partner and I have been to the Aviary many times and we are always excited at the prospect of going again. Last night we had an absolutely lovely day-after-Valentine’s dinner there. Cocktails, appetizers, mains, all fabulous. At first I was disappointed that the fantastic steelhead trout I had there recently wasn’t on the menu, but the short ribs were a terrific alternative. Nick serves a wonderful cocktail and, at this point, he even knows what we like. We enjoyed being in the nest and appreciated that the staff agreed to seat us side-by-side so we both had a view of that beautiful room. Service was excellent, as we have come to expect. No photos, b/c I left my phone at home so as to just be there. Thanks, all.“

“Great place for food and coffee / tea. I had a rice bowl and my wife had breakfast pita. Rice bowl was out of this world. Stormy earl gray tea was amazing. Folks here are super friendly and atmosphere here is cozy.

“I’ve never been to this hotel. The swimming hole behind is where you should go. The current at the bottom is not as dangerous as it seems, but don’t attempt to swim if you’re a weak swimmer (for safety).

“Not my first review of this fabulous restaurant and it won’t be my last! Pico de Gallo was my first choice for my birthday dinner and it never disappoints! Perfect margarita and guacamole with house made crisp chips. Dinner was vegetable enchiladas filled with broccoli, mushrooms, carrots and cauliflower floret. This dish was topped with melted cheese, fresh cotillo cheese and house made tomatillo sauce. The sauce was sweet with a bit of a kick! All served by accommodating, friendly staff. I had a great burger—“One-eyed”—a bacon cheese burger topped with a fried egg done over easy. The burger was flame broiled for nice flavor, with real crispy bacon. Fries were hot and crispy. Only the bun was subpar, a bit dry. Prices were decent and good value, though charging nearly $4 for soda was excessive. Service was excellent and friendly. Definitely will return to try other dishes.“

“I do not like to come on and leave negative reviews because I don't feel a business should suffer over one employee's bad day BUT tonight upon returning home with my pick up order there were half mushrooms and onions and peppers half cheese (which can we talk about how ridiculous it is to charge one dollar for a topping on a basically personal pan (their small 12" 4 slice size pizza). When I said there were mushrooms, but mushrooms were not supposed to be there and we were charged for it. I was told they ordered mushrooms. My intelligence was insulted because I was present when the order was made and in fact no mushrooms were never mentioned (P.S. in 6 years never ever once have mushrooms been ordered nor would they ever be so it's not like oh pepperoni unknowingly slipped out on accident could be my fault) .After calling me a liar I said I was just calling to see if my dollar could be refunded to my card that I didn't want a whole new pizza and that if it couldn't be refunded in the reality, it really was no big deal but it was worth a try. I was met with complete rudeness just a no and I said ok that's OK it's fine don't worry about it. Have a good night. I was pleasant the whole time and all I got was yup and a hang up. You could at least attempt to act halfway cordial after I was pleasant and jovial even after being called a liar and my order being screwed because mushrooms are hated. Working in retail I know how easy it is to refund money to a card. And funny how she didn't know how to do that but she sure did know how to update it to add her tip as I was notified almost 48 hours later that my total had been adjusted and that adjustment was the addition of her tip.“

The other said onion rings were soggy from old oil. The fish is fun In that they are fish logs. It was a diner. I like diners!“
