“Stopped in for a sub for lunch, saw the good looking slices on
display. Got my sub ate it for supper because I got a couple
pepperoni slices for lunch instead.
Can't say the slices were good but I can say they were very good.
Crust, cheese, pepperoni and grease, yes grease were all really
very good. Oh and half a turkey, swiss, bacon, lettuce, tomato, ex-onion with russian dressing was very good too. (very filling)“

“Naughter’s is THE breakfast place you want to go to while in Troy (as someone who inherently doesn’t scream about brekkie spots).
The goat cheese omelette special came to me and oh did it sing. I added bacon, because life’s short and why not. An arugula side salad accompanied and was everything. I will be coming back for the spice bag one day. Thank the heavens for local establishments like this.“

“American Food & Deli is easily one of the best spots I’ve tried in the 518 area. I ordered a chopped cheese, 6 honey hot wings, and 6 lemon pepper wings, and everything was fresh and packed with flavor. The wings were crispy and cooked perfectly. The honey hot had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, and the lemon pepper was seasoned really well. The chopped cheese was loaded with meat and cheese and was just as good.

The service was excellent too. Before I ordered, the employee let me try a wing, which was a great gesture and showed confidence in the quality of their food. On top of that, the prices are hard to beat for the quality and portions you get.

“B-rads catered my wedding recently. It was by far the best food i have had. For cocktail hour was had bacon wrapped Pierogies, chicken and waffle skewers, coconut shrimp. There was also this massive charcuterie table that everyone was talking about. For dinner we had pulled pork, lemon pepper chicken, and brisket. Sides were mac n cheese, slaw, salad, corn bread, rolls ect. Everything was SO good. The brisket fell apart and was amazing. My husband loved the mac n cheese (it was amazing also). Everyone talked about how amazing the food was. Pricing was good also. They were great to work with leading up to the wedding and even called a couple days before hand to make sure we didn’t need anything else. 10/10 recommend them to cater any event!“

“This is a great small, family run fast phone spot. It has been family run for at least 4 generations. I enjoy their Greek burger, and I like their hotdogs. “I live in the neighborhood and was really excited when I noticed this place. They are recently re-opened under new ownership (Aug 2026). They specialize in Puerto Rican food but they also offer things like burgers, fries and chicken wings. I tried their beef empanadas, pernil, arroz con gandules, tostones and amarillos/maduros and everything was excellent!!! Seriously delicious. If you are a fan of Puerto Rican and Caribbean food you need to check them out!
The beef empanadas were the first thing I tried and I could immediately tell I was going to be happy here since they were flavorful and well seasoned with sofrito. Fried perfectly! Fresh!
They are doing breakfast, lunch and dinner right now. It's a small family run business and they've been running some daily specials and deals that rotate. The pricing is very reasonable which also encourages me to visit more often.
The dining space includes several tables and some counter seating. There's some cute Puerto Rico themed artwork and music playing. The staff is very friendly, they speak English and Spanish.
I noticed they have a steady stream of customers, which is always a good sign. The food is good!!! They sometimes sell out so come quick!“

Couple things though... 1) really really irks me when anyone i'm paying doesnt say thanks, thank you, etc. It was take out, I even gave a nice tip. “Great old school dinner. They have it figured out. The food price and quality is right where it needs to be. Service is great. It takes a minute to get the food to the table but that's fine. Everyone is in a freaking hurry today and there is nothing wrong with sitting at the table and enjoying each other's company. It's an older establishment.
