“Don't judge a book by its cover, lesson for me today. When I walked in, I thought I was in a place that was maybe going out of business. The deli counter didn't have the usual display of foods, cold salads etc, you see in a deli. The chest freezer was basically empty. A friendly guy took my order for a grilled chicken salad and I had low expectations. A friendly lady chatted with me and rang up the order. It's actually a BEAUTIFUL salad with gorgeous fresh ingredients, very high quality, perfect portion size for 1 person. At under $10 it's a great deal. I shouldn't have been so quick to judge by appearance!“

“I can’t believe I have never left this amazing place a review. We have been coming here for years and loving these amazing artisan, homemade grilled cheese sandwiches. Lots of variety to pick from and there are some yummy soups on the menu too. He also offers specials. Lyle the owner and chef is amazing and so super nice to talk too. He makes you feel so welcomed and your stomach feels very happy with these delicious sandwiches. He has gluten free options too for almost everything. My kids love the classic grilled cheese and I love the Mother Cabrini! There are some very cool stickers and t-shirts here with his neat truck logo. I must get one soon! He has drinks and snacks too! “It's a small little spot right off Grasslands Road down the hill from WCC. Before entering I was greeted by the owner, Sam. He was very cool and truly believes in what he is doing. I really like it when owners get involved. The inside is small but decorated very nicely. The sandwich wasn't too big and wasn't too small. I got the cheesesteak and it was one of the best I have had in a long time. I'm not sure if they make their own bread but it was extremely fresh. The steak was juicy and the red and yellow bell peppers added the perfect amount of sweetness. I am eager to try their other sandwiches. I love supporting local businesses that are passionate about what they do and make great food. This place is a little pricey but it is too notch quality. I definitely recommend the sandwich spot.“

“We visited the Nanuet NY location on Saturday 11/19/22. We were helped by both Anthony & Darryl. I would really like to extend a thank you to both those gentlemen on such wonderful service. We stopped in quick to order 4 sandwiches then visit with family, we had just driven about 2.5 hrs prior to coming into the store so where pretty cranky. The store was packed and these 2, as well as the other 3 team members, serviced everyone with smiles and thank yous. We walked out with smiles on our faces laughing. Please take a moment to recognize these 2 for incredible service. I did sent this to the corporate office as well, I do hope these 2 gentlemen are singled out for going above and beyond.“

“I came in around 10 am on a friday, and I just got out of bed looking like a hot mess. So I decide hey I'll go to subway for once and when I got there I was greeted with a smile from the man working there. There was a chair in the way of the fridge and I took the liberty of moving it myself but the man told me to just leave it there and came around to move it for me instead. I was treated with so much respect from this man when he took the rest of my order, and I work in customer service, so it felt really great to be treated with such respect. “I really enjoy this subway location. There is very easy street parking on the corner of the building, and their food is excellent. The subs are very tasty and all of the ingredients are very fresh. I also love their chocolate chip cookies! They also have some very friendly staff as well.“

A little more costly than typical fast food choices, but worth it. Just wish the roll was a little more toasted. Highly recommend if you are the Palisades Mall food court!“
