The “long John with cream” was a bit of a disappointment for me (it’s got a very thick coating of chocolate on the outside and custard inside, not vanilla cream), but the glazed buttermilk made up for it. The Brooklyn Blackout doughnut is always fantastic - a sweet nod (no pun intended!) to the cake New Yorkers know and love for decades. Once you enter go right side and you will find the food court. There is a few seatings inside, but due to covid it is better to take the donuts home. However, today (Saturday November 15), there was this one female staff member (brunette, eye glasses) who was helping folks with the baked goods, and she was extremely rude and even rolled her eyes at us. Her negative and awful attitude was absolutely palpable. She is a absolute rockstar! She’s attentive, warm, and makes sure you’re taken care of from the moment you sit down.
