Over the last few years it has become a special place to toast a best friend we lost. The staff & Missy makes our time there extra sweet, and we appreciate that beyond words. “Our adult children, from Brooklyn and upstate, and I, were excited to plan a surprise birthday luncheon for their Dad and my husband. The atmosphere was nice enough, and our server, Cat, was outstanding! The drinks were nice but they ran out of a beer we ordered by 1:30 pm on Saturday. Otherwise, aming a party of six, we had 4 beers, 2 Juice Bombs, 2 Health Margaritas, a glass of Chardonnay, and 3 other drinks...a total of 2 drinks per person. To start we ordered a plate of raw oysters and deep fried artichokes. Both choices were fine. We also ordered 3 Salad Nicoises which were a huge disappointment and should have been renamed, A Small Smattering 0f Tiny Greens With A Hint Of Dried Tuna, Whole Intact Garlic Clove, a 3 Discolored Green Beans Marinated in Vinegare with 2 Baby Potatos. If you were envisioning a classic Salad Nicoise, buyer beware. A 3 ounce portion of seared medium rare tuna or oil packed canned tuna, together with hard boiled eggs, Nicoise olives, and tomatoes with vinagrette were missing in action. The salad appeared to have been pepared with an eye to the least amount of preoaration“

“Nice location on the Hudson River, good outside seating area, inside seating is good.\n\nWe all got blackened chicken sandwich, it was good, but a little too blackened, very peppery taste, chilotle sauce on top of the peppery flavor was a bit too spicy.\n\nWaitress was wonderful, we were there for over two hours, she was attentive but not pesky.\n\nA bit pricey.“

“I work for the owner in his other business where he has a daycare for the elderly people and he also offers home healthcare services. I also rent from him-• MY OPINIONS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH MY PERSONAL LIFE- ITS ALL MY TRUTH AND MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCES •I came in for a job from someone who knows the owner Vitaliy- she lived in one of his apartments years ago and was telling me about how great of a person he is and how he has a few gigs and I’d enjoy working for him. So I went and filled an application out for the Home Health Care Aide and I did my interviews and met with the manager Brooke and started not to soon after- one of the best decisions I’ve ever made was going in and filling the application out - Vitaliy and his managers Brooke and Julie are all the best people to work for! They actually acknowledged me not even a month into working for him about how good I’m doing - that meant everything to me, the fact that they pay attention and care about their employees and clients and also customers is a beautiful rare thing.The restaurant is a very homey place. I’m new and my husband is a veteran and he has a hard time being around people and even he loves it. My kids love going to play ping pong while the adults play pool and listen to music. It’s just an amazing atmosphere with people who make you feel like your family. My family lost everything to hurricane Ian in Florida and had to move back and the employees AND THE CUSTOMERS ( I’m telling you once you meet them and they like you and you them it’s a family - they look out for each other!! ) all rallied up to make sure we have what we needed for our apartment.I am a very outspoken, outgoing, blunt, rare individual and I’m very opinionated- I would not lie to anyone about anything- but I PROMISE you that you will love the Bar/Restaurant and everyone inside it.Thank You to everyone for making us feel welcomed! “We ordered takeout from this Italian restaurant several times and had the dinners delivered to the James Newbury Hotel nearby. The portions were large, tasty and well prepared. Delivery was quick. We enjoyed the chicken and veal dinner choices and the salads. The staff was friendly and helpful on the occasion we stopped in to place our order for a later delivery time. They were accommodating to us with food allergies and made sure we stayed safe. Thank you Danielle for your help and upbeat attitude.“
