Had a problem ordering online for pick up, so I called to see if order & payment went through and the lady who took my call was extreamly patient and checked for me. luckily it did go through and even let me know when I could pick it up as I was disconnected from there sight before I was given a time. when I arrived the same lady I spoke with on the phone gave me my order and said it just came out, and it was very hot just as she said. Every thing was great, and so much food. I even have enough leftovers for dinner tonight. Can't thank them enough for the great service, delicious food. Eat in , or order take out you won't be disappointed.“

When we pulled in the manager was holding the door for a couple of customers so I asked if they were still open , he replied with a smile if u get in we can serve you guys before we close . “This is by far my favorite coffee shop in Telkwa and Smithers. I probably spend far too much money then I should here, but I absolutely love it. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is great, and don't even get me started on the coffee and the food. I don't know if I've had anything that I didn't like from here. I've tried pretty much everything from the pies, meat pies, the freshly made sourdough bread that is just delicious, and the burgers on Fridays. You also have things like the cookies, the brownies and so much more. On top of all of that there's even a lot that I have yet to try, the ice cream being one of them. She even went on vacation for a couple of weeks and that was probably the longest couple of weeks without a good coffee. Oh yeah and I almost forgot, the breakfast wraps are absolutely delicious. You got to try them. Try anything try everything try it all, I'm sure you'll love it.“

“Instead of recommending the restaurant or not I wish I could rate it with stars. I would give a 3.75 the food was the good. The service was good. The atmosphere was good. Nothing was stand out amazing. For the price I would think the entrees would come with a salad or bread for the table but they do not. Drinks of course were expensive as anywhere but I got the smallest pour of wine I’ve probably ever received. We went for a special occasion and I wish we would have went somewhere else. Maybe I’ll try again with friends again for lunch and hope for a better experience.“

“A great day today with a dear friend who has finally moved back to the Albany area.🥰 We have been friends for decades, and I even visited her when she lived in Denver, Colorado. We had a great lunch at Cafe Madison on Northern Boulevard in Albany. She had a yogurt parfait with granola, and fresh fruit, all topped off with enough whipped cream to blanket this group. 🤣 I had a salad of mixed baby greens, walnuts, dried cranberries,poached pears, goat cheese, and a delicious apple cider vinaigrette. Our waitress, Ashley, was a delight. The food was great, but she's the reason I'll be back. Great customer service skills. She loves her job, and it's reflected in her positive attitude.“

“First time here in a very cold evening, it’s like on the back of a building, there’s a park in front of the store, and across the street from it is a huge building with a clock on top that could be an old train terminal.
The chef was really friendly and the chicken sandwich meal was delicious, my daughter was a picky eater, and she just killed that sandwich, the chicken was crispy and tender inside, it was so food, since it’s a cold day we didn’t bother to order ice cream pops, we will definitely come back with friends and visit this eatery again.“

“I’ve been looking forward to checking out the restaurant, Dove & Deer, since I first encountered their food when their chef was highlighted at the annual Summer Gala fundraiser here in Hudson last year. Their chef served an incredible amuse-bouche with gooseberries and the chef who was there sharing the amuse-bouches was wonderfully charming and the food was incredible! I was so impressed that I’ve been following their social media since then and have been looking forward to visiting the restaurant all the while! I was recently in the area and while I unfortunately wasn’t able to visit the restaurant in person- I was able to order through Door Dash and the meal was incredible! We ordered an assortment of things to share and were thrilled with everything! -Spicy Kale Caesar with shredded kale, croutons, and shaved parmesan! -Truffle Parm Fries with scallions and truffle aioli! -Mini Wagyu Beef Hotdogs made with wagyu beef, served in buttery toasted buns, and topped with mustard, ketchup, and relish! -Hot Lobster Dip made with lobster claw and knuckle meat, gruyere, gouda, fontina, spinach, scallion, and crispy wontons! It is often very difficult for a restaurant to adjust their menu to translate to takeout; and for them to do so where every single dish was not only delicious but also mostly with a great presentation, says a great deal about their attention to detail. This is a restaurant I look forward to dining at again many more times over the years!“

“We stopped here on a Wednesday before a show at the arena. We were packed in like sardines, with nowhere left to sit and the kitchen had run out of food. And yet the place still felt chill and welcoming. The bartender/owner was attentive and super friendly, despite the absolute chaos that must have been happening behind the bar. Any employees we saw were friendly and informal. Exactly what you want from a dive in Albany.

I have social anxiety and so rarely go out to pubs. But I will absolutely be going back here. Hopefully when the kitchen still has some food left.“

“Searching for places to eat in the local area and this place popped up. I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel compelled as the food was absolutely exquisite. This place has good vegan options as well. The Dirty Little Birdy signature cocktail may be the best drink I’ve ever had! Just annoyed I had to share it. Coming back on Friday!“
