“My family and I visited on Sunday, November 16, 2025, and had Gianna as our server. She greeted us with a smile and gave us time to decide what we wanted to order. She made appetizer recommendations, and we went with the loaded fries.

The main meal arrived HOT; maybe I should have waited just a minute to sample my skillet meal! Gianna was always available for us and made sure that our glasses were never empty. She is a valuable asset to Applebee's East Islip.

We WILL be asking to have Gianna as our server from now on!“

“New Year's Eve at The Lakehouse was one of the most special evenings we have had in a long time. The ambience and decorations are absolutely beautiful, there was beautiful instrumental music playing that was not too loud and we were able to have easy conversation. Our waiter was wonderful, and the food was absolutely delicious! The staff was smiling and could not have been nicer. We could not have been happier and it felt really special to be there and we will be back again soon.!!!“

We have been here many times and never had to do that before so we had to quickly figure out our meal so we could get some food. The food is always good we were a party of five. Our only complaint was that we spent in excess of $200 for dinner and drinks, we were charged .50 cents for an additional dressing for the Baja Chicken bowl. Seriously the management feels the need to charge this after pouring it from a giant container in the kitchen?? We were told that this the policy. Management/owner should review this absurd charge after you spend decent money. This should be absorbed elsewhere and not openly charged to customers on the bill.
$27.00 dish and you cant include two tablespoons of sauce?

“I was greeted by the most pleasant, professional young lady named Ayanna. She immediately brought us to the table of our choice and then inform us that she would also be our server. She did not leave until she informed us of menu options that she thought we might be interested in and asked us if there was anything that we needed right away. When I told her to give us a little bit of time, she pleasantly agreed and did hesitate to frequently check on us to see if she could meet our needs. I ordered a cocktail for myself and a drink for my son, who accompanied me, and we placed our dinner order. Our food was served promptly and it was hot and delicious. Throughout dinner, she checked on us frequently to ensure we had everything that we needed. She also made pleasant conversation which I greatly appreciated as this was my first time at an Applebee’s location. She has gained you a customer for life. The bao buns were the best I ever had, wings were crispy and delicious, and the sushi was to die for. You can tell they make everything here with love and use the highest quality ingredients. The menu is creative and I can’t wait to come back and try more of it. Lastly, the service was so friendly. The people here are down to earth and were so pleased to know we enjoyed the food. We sat down to eat and within less than an hour, so many customers and groups came in and out of the restaurant to pick up orders and were greeted with smiles and hugs. “Very solid brewery with a bunch of great options. Probably had one of my now top 5 beers of all time here. I asked for a sample of a beer, but got a different one without having a sample of it. Went back up for a second beer but asked to sample a different before commiting to a full drink. I got told after that second sample I wasn't allowed any more. This was a first for me, because I feel like I'm usually reasonable with sample requests, so I was a bit taken back. I still got a third drink after that, but I was a little put off by being told I couldnt request any more samples. Pretty much every brewery I've gone to, I was always openly told to ask to try as many as I want before making a decision.“

“Rolling Smoke is the best BBQ hands down. The brisket melts, the ribs are meaty and tender and the burnt ends are delicious. Don’t forget the home made potato chips and coleslaw, which are always fresh and a perfect compliment. As good as the food is, owners Keri and Rich are even better people. They are passionate about their food and the nicest owners of any business you’ll ever meet. We are lucky to have world class BBQ and such nice business neighbors right in our back yard.
