Puerto Rican restaurants are rare in Long Island, so it was a delight to come here and enjoy delicious authentic Puerto Rican food! The portions were extremely generous and all 4 of us loved every item we ordered. Felix was our server and he was very friendly and made us feel like family. I can't wait to come back and try everything we didn't get to order!“

It's a really nice family-owned restaurant in the area. Would be a decent date spot, especially because of the outdoor seating... call ahead and see if you can bring a board game.

Regarding the food:

Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.

Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.

King Salmon: Quite tender.

Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.

Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.

Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

“Got a new place for over rice items or gyro items. One word..Delicious. Food was really good. I always have the mix over rice. Also the gyro was very good. Food taste and quantity is really good and enough for a person. Food Cart. So either take away or eat inside your car. Updated prices and menu added.“

“My family and I went to Veranda restaurant in Bayside yesterday for. Birthday dinner. The restaurant is well located, with street parking and valet service as well. There’s an outdoor patio, that for obvious reason we couldn’t use. The temperatures in NY have been in the single digits lately. The food and the service were on another level! Gregory was very attentive, welcoming and friendly. The food was finger liking good! I had the pan seared scallops with spinach risotto and OMG. I can’t wait to go back. Everyone was pleased with the their food choices and I highly recommend this place, unfortunately I didn’t take pics of everyone’s food. Only if mine, I hope you find this review useful. “We come here occasionally like Christmas, Halloween and Valentines party. They have for couples night and it was great. The food taste good. The service staff they have are all kind and helpful. We love the band and music they play. The first party we attend its just us and when our friends heard it from us the following party we attend we are now 11 couples.
