“This is the first time I have ever visited the Prince. I recently started a new diet that is low-carb, high-protein, and high fat, cutting out as much sugar and gluten as humanly possible. I've been feeling much better, but as you can imagine, it's a bit hard to find what I need when I have to buy food outside. If it's not breaded, it's wrapped up in dough, full of dough, or comes with bread. It's usually coated in some kind of a sauce or some kind of dairy formulation, and as someone who's lactose intolerant, that is a definite No-No.

Before heading over, I looked at the menu on Google Maps, and they had some dishes with some promise. Google did not map it properly, but I was eventually able to locate it a couple of doors down from where Google sent me. It is a small, very clean looking restaurant with four tables lined up near the window, with a window seat and chairs on the opposite side of the tables. I really appreciated the simplicity of it, but I would strongly suggest adding some protection on the windows because, as someone who is incredibly pale, there is very little shade. If I had to sit in the sun, I would have easily burned myself.

I decided to go with the cobb salad, with extra avocado, and the blue cheese dressing on the side. If I have a minor amounts of dairy I'm generally okay, so I asked for an extra plate so I could move the salad around and only apply as much dressing as I absolutely needed so that it wouldn't be dry.

The lettuce is incredibly fresh. They use grape tomatoes cut in half, the avocado was absolutely fresh without any browning, and the dish comes with very large chunks of what appears to be white chicken breast. The bacon was about as crispy as it can be for pre-made bacon. I find that the longer that bacon sits out, the less crispy it becomes, but it is still crunchy and sufficiently salty. Everything tasted very clean and fresh. It was a clean and healthy meal, and I was grateful for it. That being said, I did have a couple of issues.

The biggest issue I had was that the chicken chunks were so huge that I would never naturally eat them like that in a salad. I had to take them apart and shred them within the salad so that every bite of salad would have a piece of chicken. I don't mind doing the extra work, but it was quite messy. I'm just glad that I had hand sanitizer with me.

Otherwise, my only issue is something that I have an issue with everywhere, and that is the bottled water. They provide Glacéau Smartwater, which I purchased because I needed water, but generally, I never drink this water. It is distilled water with electrolytes. I use distilled water in my humidifier. I use distilled water in my CPAP machine. I do not drink it because distilled water is dead water. In the process of distillation, it completely murders any benefit that you can have from water, so ultimately, you are just drinking liquid with no natural benefits - plus added electrolytes. The only water that I ever drink is spring water. There are multiple brands, some fancier than others, but Smartwater isn't actually meant to be ingested by humans.

I would definitely come back to The Prince in the future. There are very few restaurants that serve things that I can eat, and the food itself is quite tasty and fresh. I would probably bring my own water from outside, and I would absolutely not sit against the window unless it was overcast outside, but when you're trying to eat better, there isn't a lot available out there. The Prince has exactly what I need, and you get it with excellent service.“

“The location of this store is perfect and the food is always great. That being said service can be hit or miss, for lack of better wording. I find that though everyone is always friendly you may find ingredients missing or scarce in the warm bowl or salad that’s been ordered. There may be a lot of turn around in employees so that could account for the discrepancy.“

“My family loves Mazadore. The food is great, the prices are low, and the owners are nice. I ordered catering from them last night for a dinner party. “Yummy food and delicious, flavorful drinks. I got the angus burger and my friend got the sliders and truffle fries. I really enjoyed the burger, the sauce was great, however, I didn’t taste any cheese in it. The fries were good as well. My friend got the autumn yuzu peach fizz cocktail and I got the el Diablo. The inside of the restaurant is relatively spacious, cute and colorful, and has chair, booth, and bar seating and several tv’s. The staff is kind and service is quick. I really enjoyed my brief conversation with one of the owners (Ro) about Ireland! We walked in today (Saturday) around 4:15pm and it wasn’t crowded, no wait for a table. Noise level inside is quiet as well.“

“This was my first time entering this pizza shop. My husband works at the hospital, so I caught the train to New Rochelle to meet him but I was very hungry and was craving pizza all day. I googled pizza shop near me and I believe 3 popped up. Well I chose Mario’s shop, and was not disappointed. Something about that pizza sauce was different. It was so delicious and the crunchy crust was everything!!!! My husband told me I made a “good choice” after he swallowed his slices lol. I’m adding this shot to my list for sure. “I have been to Saigon Table twice. Once with the whole family. We all enjoyed it and they are very safe for people with Celiac.

That night I met the owner Lynn N Lee. She talked about wanting to bring high quality Vietnamese food to this side of Westchester. Everything is made from scratch, including a beef broth slowly made from Pat Lafrieda bones. Her sauces are unique and delicious. My husband loved his Pho. The kids had delicious chicken and beef skewers and some rice noodles. She uses GF soy sauce and a great GF fish sauce as well.

I returned last night with a friend whose husband is a chef and she also loved it. I recommended the chicken soup because I had once picked it up for my mom and was blown away by the layered depth of flavor of the broth.

The place is simple and casual, yet thoughtfully designed. The service is warm and friendly, but be patient as they tend to receive a lot of take out orders and everyone knows that this is sometimes hard to balance.

I could eat the beef skewers every day. They are cooked perfectly medium rare and the marinade is insane.

“I took my family to la riserva last week. We had an amazing dinner. My girls loved the pasta fagioli!!! Nuff a the food were finished(sold out) but we got the pepper steak w/rice&peas and raw vegetables (shredded carrots and cabbage,love it!) and sweet chilie wings w/rice and peas. Firstly, rice and peas can eat by itself! Well nice!! She wanted oxtail but it was basically done but server(wish i got her name) gave us the few small pieces with the gravy to her rice. “I have been coming to this place for a long time (4 years to be exact!). The breakfast menu is my favorite, but I also recommend the lunch and dinner platters that are delicious too! Giselle is the best cook and the delivery guy is a charm. I've never had any bad experiences with my visits here or when I order for delivery. This place is always clean, too.Sometimes they DO get overwhelmed with a lot of customers (because their food is so good!) and you may wait a little longer than usual; but they still work very hard, diligently and follow the CDC health guidelines. “We enjoyed our dinner at Aperiti on a friday evening after work. The restaurant is small and cozy and very well suited for a cold winter night. The service staff were very young and provided attentive service. We shared appetizers including the eggplant and Pera salad both delicious! For entrees we ordered a flatbread to share the Tartufina Bianca and a pasta plate the Paccheri which is absolutely delicious. The portions are not large nor family style but for us they were just right as we weren't starving. We washed everything down with a chianti and montepulciano. The menu prices higher than what I expected almost manhattan -like it was worth our dining experience and everything we tasted was delicious. Thank you.“
