“Like a light at the end of a dark tunnel, Rodney’s came to the rescue! We initially went for lunch at a very new, trendy new spot on Lakeshore Road. After a 20 minute wait, we were seated. The place was so loud! No band. No loud music. Just loud everything else. People talking, dishes clanking and who knows what else, it was so loud. There’s no way you could carry on a conversation without shouting. So we left right away. Next we tried a popular seafood restaurant nearby and were treated like second-class citizens just by inquiring how long the wait was. Out of there. Rodney’s was almost across the street so we went there. Best idea ever! Our hostess was friendly. Our server was a hoot. Funny, helpful and got everything exactly right. The food was excellent too. A cozy, clean spot right by the lake. I recommend Rodney’s highly.“

“Hoak’s was such a cool place to visit right on Lake Erie. I had the chicken dinner and a bowl of their French onion soup. The soup was pretty good, a little too much pepper. The chicken was meh. Their blue cheese is homemade and very good. There aren’t really any healthy options at this restaurant. The service was pretty good. Sat right away and got our food right away. It was cool seeing all the photos on the walls of the history of the restaurant.“

“we do not have any employees anymore, it is just run by family now. food is reasonably priced, not expencive! i am the owners daughter maggie. the foods pretty good. we are super nice pepole. this is the side of the building the highschool art department did a nice mural. so you can't miss the building!“

“I recommend having the Apple Bourbon Burger with salted fries- both were absolutely delicious!! The burger was perfectly cooked, had incredible flavor, served with apple slices, bacon and a savory sauce and then the fries were both crispy and salty. The atmosphere was just as impressive; their Christmas decorations made the whole place feel warm, festive, and inviting. Had an amazing experience and will be back soon!“

“First time in the area for a Bills game- From Toronto, Ontario..was trying to find a place that was open for some food for after the game. Stumbled upon Kettles. We called from the car asking if we could do an order for pick up. They initially said they usually don’t do that on game nights and prefer people to dine-in. We mentioned that we were driving back to Toronto that night- agreed to make the wings and could pick them up in 20minutes.Did not realize they were a cash only and explained that I didn’t know if my bank card would work in their atm being from Canada- the lady that I was dealing with offered that I could venmo her the amount (Canada doesn’t have venmo) ATM worked. Wings were paid for. Service was great. Staff was very friendly. Wings were AMAZING. Will be a for sure stop every time I’m back on American soil.“

“Stopped in to get some food because the kids were hungry. I went in by myself first to make sure it was a family friendly place. The bartender was also the cook for the day and she assured me it was fine and seated us in the back. The food was fantastic and she was very efficient and friendly. The kids loved it and it was one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had in a long time“

“While we have always enjoyed our meals at The Mansard in the past, our last two visits have been uninspiring. Our most recent visit on 8/3 was average at best. The bartender had BOTH sliding glass doors (no screens) open in the bar area causing swarms of flies to circle us our ENTIRE meal, in the dining area. Although friendly, our waitress said there were no specials that evening, after I specifically asked what the specials were. I overheard other waitresses telling patrons what the specials were, so I knew there WERE specials. The musty smell of the stained drapery needs to be replaced ASAP, as the odor hits you as soon as you get to the front door. Please be better and ACT like the "fine" dining restaurant you want to be! Very disappointed...The food is the ONLY thing worth coming to The Mansard for...We miss Steve!!“

“This was probably the best experience I've had at a restaurant before. I had some rare time to have a calm relaxing meal and this did it. A lot of it had to do with the very sweet kind server Stephanie. She really has a aura of happy genuine positivity about her. She really brings something wonderful to her job/workplace. The food was also incredible and so good to the last bite. Highly recommend for a nice meal alone or with family.“

“Seems like Longhorns menu has shrunk since I been here last. With that being said the Cheese steak burger was the bomb. Very juicy with plenty of toppings with a side item. My wife got the soup salad combo. Shrimp and lobster bisque. The soup was awesome as well. Something different than steak since we wanted lunch and not dinner. So selection has slimmed but still great food at reasonable price.“

“So excited we got in on opening day! Grew up in Rochester and live in Buffalo now, so we had been waiting months for this location open! Food, service, and atmosphere were great! Added plus of this being in the suburbs is the parking lot. Decor was really cool and seating options were nice - they even have a fireplace inside. Can’t wait to see this place in the summer when they have the doors open! Staff were all super friendly, including our waitress Angela B.
