“I have been coming this place every summer. I was there for a quick lunch today and ordered chips & guacamole with watermelon juice. The chips were like they soak them into a salt pool and serve it after. I couldn’t have the avocado’s taste even( they only meshed the avocado and served with slices of reddish). I paid $25 for all. No more words.“

The staff was amazing. Very attentive to our guests and especially to the Mommy to be. Even the weather was perfect. All of our guests couldn’t stop talking about the food and atmosphere. Chris responded quickly with any questions or concerns I had. We will definitely be going back for dinner or brunch.“

Parking: If you do go make sure you go at least a couple minutes earlier mainly bcz of street parking meters are cheap and hard to get I suggest parking lots they are around also if you want the easy way out lol other then that it’s amazing.“

“My go to place for special occasions. Mike always makes us feel at home. Not only is the food fantastic, but the staff is helpful and kind. They even went out of their way to help my handicap mother get in and out of the car! Food is delicious and tons of variety when compared to the standard Italian restaurant. “The Sunken Lounge was pretty groovy. The rich, retro, red lounge was warm and welcoming, and the view of Connie Cocktail Lounge out the back with the runway lights was far out. When we were watching the final season of The Fabulous Mrs. Maisel, it was neat to see TWA Hotel and The Sunken Lounge used as the set for the airport.“

Our waitress at the bar was so lovely, taught us about the restaurant name meaning “fireplace cave” in Italian, and showed us through the menu and even helped us order an off-menu favorite the cacio e pepe, which was very tasty and the perfect amount of al dente. We had a terrific classic Margarita pizza! You have to order a pizza if you come here its all about the wood fire oven! Love it!“

“Well well worth it! This hidden gem is located in the heart of kew garden near many local transportation! With ample parking and extremely welcoming staff, the restaurant was well worth the trip! The decor and atmosphere were amazing! Food was extremely delicious and fairly priced! They had a fun bar and a nice selection of cocktails and wines. The knowledge of the staff when it comes to drinks and different wines was top notch and very delicious! Overall, had an amazing dinner and experience.

“This is my parents’ favorite restaurant in Long Beach so we order from here every time we visit. The family special is unreal!!! The food, the top-notch quality, the offerings - a big platter of eggplant Parmesan and their crispy fried chicken, with cauliflower on the side, big Mexican salads, and even caramel ice cream for dessert. Always reliably five stars. Fed all six of us and was such a treat. Can’t wait for next time.

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at this establishment and the experience was a mixed bag. The food was absolutely exceptional, each dish bursting with flavor and well prepared. The service was top-notch as well - attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. I ordered a Cosmo and my friend ordered the old fashioned. The bartender did an excellent job and both drinks were delicious!

However, the ambiance left something to be desired. The decor felt a bit outdated and could use some modernization to match the quality of the cuisine and service. With a revamp in the ambiance department, this place could easily become a five-star dining destination. Overall, a great spot for a delicious meal with fantastic service, but with room for improvement in the atmosphere.“

“The music, locations, and ambiance is legit. Tony gave us a wonderfully kind welcome. The waitress, Meg, was sweet & knowledgeable of gluten free options. Actually, she WAS the GF menu since there were none to offer. I'd suggest a dedicated fryer to expand limited gluten free options (I enjoyed the jackfruit/guac taco). Would visit again if they do.
