But the chicken, corn and cheese empanada was amazing. Very delicious
The cassava cheese circular thing was amazing as well the arepa. They both have slight sweet taste to them and it’s very good.
I got 4 items and drink for around $15 only, pretty good price as well

My husband and I come from long island as often as we can now because we have never been disappointed with all the food we bought. “I have been eating from here for literal years! My dad introduced me to their food about 10 years ago and I can’t believe I haven’t written a review yet.

The food here is consistently flavorful, fresh, and made with love. It doesn’t matter if I eat in the restaurant or order takeout the food here is always a 10/10! My go to order is the Grilled Shrimp Scampi ( Camarones ) with garlic sauce and white rice with beans. My fiancé always orders their Pernil with rice and beans.

If you are thinking of getting food from here, do it! The staff is super friendly and the food is as good as it looks!“

“I was craving a Cubano. I should have asked how they make theirs. The sandwich I got was good but it wasn't a Cubano. My idea of a Cuban sandwich is Roast pork, sliced ham, swiss cheese, a pickle and mustard. Hero bread pressed flat. I hear some people use salami instead of ham. The sandwich I recieved had no pickle no cheese no mustard and was not pressed. I'll give them another try because their food looked good in the trays. If I get another Cubano, I'll ask them if they can make it my way.“

“This place was a godsend when I had a multi-hour layover in JFK after a long international flight early in the morning; it's very easy to get to by AirTrain and saves you from paying airport prices for the McDonald's breakfast menu when you're still on Asian time and in the mood for dinner - in fact it's cheaper than McDonalds' off-airport prices these days. The staff spoke English and were willing to explain what things were; I had a nice cup of coffee, some tasty empanadas and a fried croquette filled with minced shredded chicken and vegetables.
