“A group of us had gone to Alexander’s Saturday January 27th to celebrate a 30th birthday. Alexander’s didn’t disappoint. Our food was outstanding and the service was just as wonderful. Our server was Melena her personality fit right in with our crew that came in. You can tell she loves her job. She was quick and very attentive. Another plus was the heated outdoor seating. We all can’t wait to come back and eat there again and I hope we are lucky to Melena as our server again!“

“Oh my goodness, my husband and I stopped for breakfast 2 Saturdays ago. I had read amazing reviews and the menu looked delicious…what to eat first? 🤔 We were NOT disappointed! Despite being slammed with customers, our waiter (wish I’d caught his name), was personable, friendly and efficient. He treated us like we were the only customers he had. He kept us informed that there would be a wait since they were so busy. That was okay, since we could wander around the gift shop while we waited and eventually peruse the rest of the shop after our delectable breakfast. Each bite of our (1 plain and 1 cinnamon) pancake was like a bite of heaven. They were huge and melted in our mouths. The omelet was as I had requested and perfect, BUT the homemade slice of white bread that came with it was again, heaven sent. We bought a loaf and a cinnamon roll to bring home. We have another restaurant that we are so fond of for our annual fall pilgrimage, BUT DVR may have stolen us away. We look forward to bringing our kids. Oh and speaking of bringing more people, it won’t break the bank. Our meal for just my husband and me was $21…what we saved, we were sure to leave for our wonderful waiter and a copay to our doctor for the yummy carb coma. Many thanks for helping to create what will hopefully become a family affair.“

“We went for a friends birthday! It was very good food wise, however, I snuck up to the bar and asked about birthday celebrations and if they did anything special, she had said yes we do a brownie and asked me which table/person. The brownie was great and had a sparkler! BUT when we got our bills the birthday girl had a $7 charge for the brownie! I was very confused because I’ve never been somewhere that charged for a birthday brownie and was not told it would cost anything. Just surprising especially being they charged the birthday person. All and all it was good food but wish the staff be more informative.“

“The wing's were very good. The bartender was busy but still was fast to take my order and was friendly. She even smiled and gave some conversation. I will definitely go back although I will probably order ahead because it did take a little bit of time to get the food. It was a busy place. It was very yummy so worth it. Thank you guys for the great service I appreciate y'all.“

“We visited for the first time yesterday afternoon (8/1)and our group of 7 (including 3 young kids)absolutely loved it. We have talked the last 3 years of visiting Findley Lake to venture to Pine Junction and just never made it, this year my mom, grandmother and son met one of the owners at Dollar General (white van with Texas plates driven by peeps from Central PA) who invited us out. We have decided that from now on that a trip to Pine Junction will be in our must do list. The Brussel sprouts and shrimp chowder were absolutely to die for.“

“We had dinner on a Tuesday evening and it was not busy. We got a table right away.
We used to frequent this place over a decade ago and came for the Cincinnati chilli. It did not disappoint. The chicken tenders were on special Tuesday for $3 ea. We thought that was odd for chicken tenders but then we saw the size of them. The kids meal comes with 2 and 1 was the size of her head lol. They were also very good. The breading has a very good flavor.“

“The Harvest Restaurant and Bar in North East, PA, is truly a hidden gem, even more so after my unexpected weekend snowed in at a local hotel. Stranded due to a blizzard and a car accident, I found solace in the warmth and hospitality of this fantastic establishment. From the moment I stepped in, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was exceptional. Heather, the owner, greeted me with genuine kindness and made me feel right at home. Her dedication to providing a great dining experience was evident throughout my visit. The food was the highlight of my stay. I tried the pot roast melt, which was nothing short of spectacular. The tender meat, melted cheese, and deliciously toasted bread created a comforting and hearty meal that warmed me up from the inside out. I also indulged in the ribs, which were fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with flavor. Each bite was a delight, showcasing the kitchen's skill and commitment to quality. Despite the circumstances that brought me there, the staff's friendly demeanor, along with the amazing food, turned what could have been a disappointing weekend into a memorable one. If you're in the area, don’t miss out on The Harvest Restaurant and Bar—great service, great food, and truly awesome hospitality await!“
