“What a spectacular hidden gem of a restaurant! I'll go anywhere for a good duck breast, this place absolutely delivered 110%. Right amount of char, the seasoning, and it was cooked to perfection. Smoked salmon and burrata apps were delicious. We couldn't be happier with the very attentive service, quaint atmosphere - and the food was really on point for such an unassuming location. Also, the hot rice pudding with golden raisins was fantastic, as close to grandmas recipe as I can remember coming across! Keep up the spectacular work!“

“Visited this restaurant after show at Bellport Playhouse. Very nice inside and the service was amazing. My husband enjoyed his Filet Mignon, he loved it! My meal on the other hand, chicken della casa was not good at all. The chicken was so bland I couldn't eat it. I should have sent back but didn't by that point I lost my appetite. I did order the dessert tiramisu which was really good. I would go back but next time I would try another dish.“

Any meal I had there was excellent. The service is impeccable. The atmosphere is family oriented. So it is like having a hug with dinner. I like that appetizers, soup, salad, main meal are brought out in steps. That way you can enjoy the courses. This has been my favorite spot to eat since last summer. Had taken my family members there. Me and one of my good friends go there all the time. My first time there, they made me mocktails that I requested. They were great.

“Breakfast is our favorite meal and we eat out every morning. Due to an early morning doctor appointment, we bumped into Buttermilk’s Kitchen. Great vibe as soon as you walk in….friendly and cheerful staff, nice decor, immediate service. I had the “The ‘Ol Barnyard”…..the sausage gravy was excellent with big chunks of sausage and super flavorful…..probably the best I’ve had here in NY and most of the South!!! The bacon was high quality and very tasty. My perfect over easy eggs were so fresh (yes, I can taste the freshness and quality just by having a bite of the whites!). My husband had a “Create Your Own Omelette” and declared that is was a “work of art” (I was offended because I make a darn good omelette and he never said that to me!) We were concerned about the “hash browns” because that usually means just cubed and fried potatoes, so we were very pleasantly surprised at the delicious shredded and seasoned, crispy but soft hash browns. Our regular coffee was good and hot, and they offer several “craft” coffee options. The Banana Foster French toast looked delectable! The lunch menu looks good, as well. We’ll definitely be back.“

I wrote and email expressing my concern , which they responded quickly and tried connecting on the phone but they dropped the ball and did not respond to my follow up call nor my follow up email week has gone by. It’s nice in there I would’ve considered returning.

Tim, the manager called again and we had a nice conversation that I much appreciated. Offered gift card which was very kind. Sometimes things happen, if I business is willing to make it right and show humility it’s a good business. “This is THE place for great sushi and great service. The sushi is fresh, the fish is great, their avocado is ripe and the people are amazing. “Meatballs-tasted almost identical to when my Italian, childhood best friend’s grandma would slow simmer them ALL day long every Sunday!! The grilled chicken in the Greek salad was very moist and soft. Loved their 6 slice pizza too-great cheese and perfect amount of sauce that’s way less acidic than other local pizza, maybe partially because they use less sauce. Staff were very kind too.
