“I order at least monthly from your place. Have been for years now.The delivery service is the pits. The last 3 times the food was late.Last night Thursday, December 21st) was the absolute worst yet. I placed the order at 4:35PM. I always ask how much and how long from any place I order from. Got told 35-40 minutes. Okay that is about normal. I called after waiting 12 minutes past the stated time. Oh we have lot of deliveries and not enough delivery people. Well my order was cold. This was just NOT right at all.The 2 times before that the delivery person wanted to keep the menu with my information on it and tried telling me that it was 50 cents more than I was told. He than shows me the menu where it is clearly marked with price and says he could not tell if it was a 0 or a 6. Nice try!!“
“Update: I got the grilled chicken with vegetables and rice off the spanish menu. Delicious. My sister said the menu is healthy and I love healthy and I love homestyle. Very flavorful! The chicken and rice were delicious. The only thing I didnt like was there was something very spicey on one of the carrots so I stuck to the broccoli, mushrooms and onions since I cant have anything spicey at all. Like every place else, no one is serving avocado because the price keeps rising so there isnt avocado. Thankfully I now keep some in the house since so many other places no longer serve them either. They serve authentic tortillas, not the American ones. I would describe this as authentic home cooking. Yum. Really good hearty, healthy meal. Thumbs up from me. I highly recommend trying the Spanish menu.Original: I ordered the chicken rolls, delicious. I love the dough they use for their breaded items. Very tasty.“
“Excellent classic NY pizza and I've been all over the tri state. I came in with no expectations and gotta I say its one of the top pizza joints compared to Newpark in Rockaway, Lucias Flushing and Amores in Whitestone. Unbeatable 2 slice drink special. Funny italian guys behind the counter who know what they're doing. Places like this are relics. Get em while they last!“
“I took a chance because it had a high rating and good reviews. I was not disappointed. Chicken alla vodka pizza was great. Chicken chunks are really big. I placed my order in the morning, and it was ready for pick-up. Great, friendly service. I will definitely return.“
“I just found out about this restaurant a week ago and I've already been back again. The food is slamming and so are the drinks! I had the Caesar salad with chicken in it any the flavor was freaking AMAZING. It felt like I was eating a MEAL and it was just a salad. Omg! My price range was between 50 and 100 dollars bc I had 3 drinks (non- happy hour) with that salad. I loved everything.“
“The meal itself was delicious, we shared the zucchini flowers to start, then I had the brasato al barolo (braised short ribs) with polenta (delicious and terrific portion size).. and then after our meal they brought us cotton candy! We thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening and look forward to returning soon.“
“Old school NY pizza spot. The first time I tried to grab a slice was too late and they were closing. When I opened the door the smell knock some nostalgia gears into rotation and I was taken back to the daily after school pizza slice trip of my childhood in NYC. I had to come back and try it. When I returned I met the owner who was making the pizza and he was very welcoming and classic pizza guy. Very friendly and made me feel like a regular. Plenty of regulars arrived and they would talk like old friends. So this place is definitely a neighborhood staple. I ordered a regular slice and a pepperoni slice to get a baseline. The regular was delicious and definitely old school, great crust, no flop, and the cheese was not too oily. The pepperoni slice had a bit of flop but was delicious. The slices were a bit smaller than I expected but the price was fair. I paid $8.00 for a regular slice, pepperoni slice, and a can of Pepsi. Cash only spot! I was satisfied enough to ask for a third slice, this time opting for a mushroom slice and it was also wonderful. This place is a classic pizza spot, no new specialty style slices. So no grandma or Buffalo chicken. Which is fine because enough places already do that. The decor is dated to the 80's or even earlier. Which is also fine because this is not a date spot, it is a classic pizza spot, grab a slice and go or sit down for a few minutes and recharge. Come here if you want to walk into the past and taste old school NY pizza with a nice sauce and real cheese. Definitely visiting Eddie again and going to start ordering pies from there.“
“Good pizza, but unfortunately not outstanding or phenomenal for a couple of reasons. I ordered the prosciutto pizza and the sausage pizza here, the wait here was extremely long for me, but to their credit they were extremely busy and working on what appeared to be an incredibly tiny pizza oven, no big deal since I was in no hurry that day. Pizza came and I was excited since I've only tried a prosciutto pizza in Europe. The prosciutto pizza here was eye opening, the combination of their cured meat, parma cheese, arugula and olive oil drizzle was absolutely divine, all the flavors worked in complete harmony and magic that is indescribable. The other pizza though was not as memorable and fell slightly on the more average side. Where both pizzas could have used a little work? That crispiness of the bread just wasn't there, the pizza fell flat due to the sogginess of the bread used to create it. Overall a good pizza spot with a truly great and unique item, definitely would come back to try more of their menu“
“Good food, fast, dining room kinda small and sometimes the staff stores supplies or works of one or two of the few tables available for customers. Also wish they had soda options from a dispenser instead of just cans. But none of that will prevent us from going back.“
“Pizza was good for Long Island. It's really hard to find good pizza in Long Island. Dario's pizza can be compared to L'Industrie in Williamsburg Brooklyn. I went with one slice of pepperoni and a regular slice. They were both good! So if you're ever out on the island, try Dario's.“
“Now I love me some pizza. It gave me an upscale dining experience of just that. I was greeted immediately and seated (made my reservation in advance). There is no parking lot, but there is meter parking and some residential blocks that you can look for parking. As a starter, I got the calamari, and it was tasty with the Chipotle sauce and marina, I preferred the Mariana. Even some garlic butter would have been a perfect pairing, in my opinion. For the main course, we ordered cheese and sweet sausage pizza and the truffle pizza, and both were cooked to perfection“
“The service at this pizza and bagel store was truly exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile by the staff. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about their offerings. They took the time to explain the different options and made recommendations based on my preferences. The orders were fulfilled quickly, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was to my liking. When I asked for a special request, they accommodated me with a smile. The team worked seamlessly together, creating a welcoming and efficient experience. Their dedication to customer satisfaction was evident in every interaction. I left feeling valued and impressed, which is a testament to their exceptional service. Kudos to the team for setting a new standard for service excellence!“
“As a Queens local, I think the thing that impressed me the most was the variety of fresh ingredients at a reasonable cost. Their cocktails are amazing. We ordered a tuna tartar special, salad, gorgonzola gnocchi, and their famous pressed veal parmagiana. 2 drinks for each of us and a slice of their pistachio tiramisu. We were so impressed by the staff, asking our names, our allergies, etc. Our waitress Isabella was so warm and helpful with any questions we had. We truly truly were so impressed. We can't wait to return. This place is a must try.Vegetarian options: They would be able to accommodateDietary restrictions: They asked ahead of time for any allergies.Parking: Compliment valet. Appears we showed up before the rush and parked on the street at the meter.Kid-friendliness: Children were dining at other tables. Staff brought over booster seats as necessary.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to enter. They would be happy to accommodate anyone I'm sure.“
“For the longest time my wife and I were going to Oringinals which is also highly good. But we decided to try New Park Pizza and it blew Oringinals out of the water. The sauce is better and the crust has the right amount of crunch and saltiness. I believe individual slices are cheaper here. If you are in the area give them a “
“Such a great experience , I ordered a large pie from another pizzeria by mistake went to king Umberto and when I went to pick it up at this pizzeria my order wasn’t there I walked to the wrong restaurant . But for my surprise they said that it happens, they made sure I got a pie within minutes even though there were other customers waiting. The Pizza was the best one me and my family had in a while I guess is because the way I was treated, lots of kindness and respect. I would highly recommend this place,“
“Louie and Ernie's Pizza is like visiting your favorite uncle's house, who makes one of your favorite meals! Once you get there, you eat and chat, and you get so cozy that you don't realize you stayed so long? Plain and crispy, I love it! Thanks for keeping that "uncle" feeling!Vegetarian options: Plain pizza is vegetarian, that's an amazing selection!!“
“This is a great place to go out to eat with a group of friends. The portions are large and nicely priced. Drinks were plentiful and there was also a large array of beers and seltzers available for self service. Everything we ordered was tasty and fresh. Would come back again.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Villa Milano, and let me tell you, it was an experience to remember! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that instantly made me feel like family. The crew at Villa Milano is truly exceptional - attentive, friendly, and always ready with a smile. Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the pizza. Oh my goodness, where do I even begin? The pizza at Villa Milano is nothing short of spectacular. Each bite is a symphony of flavors, with a perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings atop a delectably crispy crust. Whether you're a fan of classic combinations or craving something a bit more adventurous, Villa Milano has something for everyone. Trust me when I say, you won't be able to resist going back for seconds (and thirds)! But what truly sets Villa Milano apart is the atmosphere. It's not just a restaurant; it's a place where memories are made and friendships are forged over mouthwatering slices of pizza. Whether you're dining in with friends or grabbing a takeaway, you'll always leave Villa Milano with a smile on your face and a satisfied stomach. In summary, if you're in the mood for delicious pizza served with a side of warmth and hospitality, look no further than Villa Milano. It's a true gem in the world of pizza restaurants, and I can't wait to go back for another slice of perfection.“
“Just had an egg, cheese and Turkish sausage on a croissant with small coffee, light and sweet. This hidden gem (because it’s in a parking lot of a gas station, is amazing. This sandwich is the best I’ve ever had, and the coffee (he warmed the cream) was perfection. Going to come back for some lunch and dinner - definitely my new favorite spot.“
“Place is gas. Been getting it since I was little, and even ordered it when I broke my leg as a 4-year-old. Seemed to be the only thing on my mind in the hospital. perfect distribution of crust, cheese, & sauce. Portnoy would give it a 9+.“
“My recent trip to Long Island was my first time back anywhere near NYC in a few decades. I only had time to get pizza at one place so I picked this place because of the reviews. Got a large sausage (regular NY style), it was very tasty but just a tad too thick for me to be NY style. Great pizza nonetheless but I've had better NY style in the midwest so I can't give it 5 stars. A little thinner and it's probably a 5 star pizza. The flavor is there.“
“I had an amazing experience at the pizzeria! The pizzas were delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors. What truly stood out was the exceptional customer service - friendly staff, prompt service, and a welcoming atmosphere. A must-visit.“
“Great food at a small local place with ambiance... if you can get a reservation. They change their menu seasonally... Their wood fired pizza -smoked mozzarella, figs, prosciutto, arugula, pecorino, balsamic is amazing! So is the octopus//lemon & squid ink bean puree..pistachio gremolata..pickled chiles & red onions..celery! They should have cushions available for their metal chairs for those with back issues.“
“My favorite local pizzeria. If you grew up in Queens then this place will definitely give you nostalgia with the decor and counter seating. The inside will seldomly get a little crowded with students or a kids baseball team but the service is still quick and I’ve never had trouble finding a seat. The food is amazing. Pizza, chicken parm, or the sausage/peppers are my usual orders. Been going here almost 15 years“
“I jumped off the Southern State, looking for a slice of pizza. I drove past so many fast food options, but I was determined to get a slice of pizza while I was home on Long Island. I got my slice, and it was good, but the star of the night was the sabich and the spicy bean soup. I was so happy!“
“Recently tried pizza from Enzo's and they were quickly added to our short isr of work lunch faves. They have a great variety of toppings & I think you can make your own pies as well. So far the service (we get it delivered) has been prompt & pies come still hot. What I think makes the pies unique is that they all come with a sesame seed crust! I had never seen it before and I think it helps make it seem youre getting a little snack with your slice lol. Ive tried a few of the flavors so far: buffalo, pesto (ive tried both with the cutlet & grilled chicken and i HIGHLY recomend the swap for grilled chicken), veggie, chicken brocolli & chicken caesar. I think so far my faves have been the veggie (lots of fresh crunchy veg) and the chicken caesar slice. Unlike some other pizza places the veggies dont seem to be pre-cooked which honestly threw me off at first but I actually prefer the crunch of the broccoli and pop of the cherry tomatoes on this pie instead! Definitely will reorder and think its worth a try!“
“This is the best pizzeria that I have been to all my life, good guys, they taught me what their name is, how to pronounce Kerry, they taught this word and it’s interesting, good dishes, the atmosphere is very good, very good, I recommend it to “
“This long time favorite continues on with great service and delicious food. Parking during the day is hit and miss but that aside for those of us who love a local red table cloth Italian with Italians at the helm DiMaggio's is it. One tip try the Lasagna and you will be hooked for life. Large menu and it is all delicious.“
“Amazing authentic Italian food in beautiful ambience. Very polite and caring staff. Definitely a Hidden treasure of Island Park that they have written on their canopy. Loved it. Highly recommend to all to have this experience.Vegetarian options: Great for vegetarian and no vegetarian customers.Dietary restrictions: They take care of if you want gluten free etc.Kid-friendliness: Very kids friendly . They have kids menu tooWheelchair accessibility: Main entrance and bathrooms too are wheel chair accessible.“
“3.5 Stars I haven't had a classic NYC pizza in a whileeee so we ordered a large cheese pizza. Even after about 10 minutes sitting in the box, it was still fresh and hot. It's not the best cheese slice but it hit the spot. It had a great thin crust but still held up together easily. It was light on the tomato sauce, which I actually wish there was more, but a good amount of melty cheese with a pretty good cheese pull. The crust was also nicely done. Pretty good pizza joint in the area. I'd get it again if I have a classic NYC pizza craving.“
“It was a 40 minute drive from where I live but it was SO worth it! Upon walking in we were greeted by a lovely hostess who brought us to our table immediately. The atmosphere and decor was trendy, chic and the place was packed. The cocktails were creative and fun. I loved my Pear of Thieves cocktail and my friend who is not adventurous, took a leap of faith and ordered the Grape Scotch which he loved. The bone marrow app was to die for and we were impressed with the scallops and pork belly entrees. Tanya picked the perfect wine for us and I enjoyed it so much that I'm trying to find where I can buy it for myself. It's the next day and I'm still thinking about my food and the experience. Since there is nothing like Foster in my area, I will definitely be making the journey back! Go there!“
“Although it's cash only and on the pricey side, it is worth every penny. Food it delicious, staff remembers you even if you haven't been there for awhile. My wife went in recently, although it was early and they weren't ready to do baked clams, they did it for her.We love their mixed fresh seafood. But their pizza is second to none. Their pizza in our opinion is NY BEST. Any topping you want, they have. You'll eat every bit, not even the crust is left over, in fact you work your way to the crust and that's the finishing point. That leaves you completely satisfied and filled.Love this place!!!I'll update with pictures next visit so you can visualize how delicious their food is.“
“I had the regular slice, Grandma and Upside Pizza. WOW to all 3. The best one by far was the upside down pizza. The tomato sauce was so fresh. The cheese was amazing. The best part was the crust, it was so soft inside and crispy outside. Phenomenal! Dan L. recommended this spot. Now, I recommend it to all of you. Best pizza in Queens! This is my pizza spot forever!“
“I’m tired reading all the criticism about Amore’s staff. It is a hole in the wall pizzeria, and if you don’t want rude, coldness, go to The Four Seasons.I’m 71, and for me the gold standard will always be Glorias. Amore’s pizza is the closest to Glorias I’ve ever eaten.“
“Went to Mangia Bene in Valentine's Day for an early dinner & loved the ambience & service that we experienced. Nicoletta our waitress was soft spoken, knowledgeable & patient with our ordering. We ordered the chicken parmigiana, casarroce di bosco, meatballs, eggplant rollatinis, roasted chicken wings & for desert torta burro. We enjoyed everything including the bar & wine selections. I had a gulietta & Lambrusco.Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free homemade pasta“
“First, let me start by saying I don't believe in bad reviews, they can hurt a person's business and I think people should judge for themselves. Having said that, I do, however, believe in good reviews so here goes. I feel like this restaurant is one of the best pizzeria/Italian restaurants that I've ever been to. Aside from the courteous staff and the excellent service, the food is amazing. You can't go wrong with anything that you order. We've been here quite a few times and never had a bad experience. We ordered different things every time and the food seems to be getting better and better. Just an excellent experience overall. Besides all that, the place is very inviting and very clean. Shout out to the staff and owner for making us feel like it was worth it to come all the way from Queens on a Friday night during lent. One of our favorite places by far. I wish I could give it more than just five stars.“
“Our goto place when we’re hungry and nothing comes to mind. Where the food is excellent, and there are plenty of delicious choices of pizza and pasta’s, the prices are good, but the employees are all friendly and go out of their way to make sure your dining experience is top shelf. Thanks to allParking: Plenty of parking either in the front or back“
“Great family feeling. Delicious food...owner???.Had my birthday dinner tonight....can't wait to go back!!!!Kid-friendliness: My 7 year old granddaughter Abigail loves it there. She can practice the two words she knows in Italian... Ciao Bella and loves the food“
“Solid pizza and ingredients. We ordered a Grandma pie and a few slices of white and eggplant+ricotta. The marinara and cheese on the grandma were good. The grandma is also 12 slices which is a nice bump in size compared to other shops which make 9 slices pies. My only knock on their pizza is the crust. It tastes like a low protein/gluten content flour, almost like all purpose or maybe a little cake flour mixed in. So it's not as chewy as I think pizza crust should be. That said, it's still got a solid crispy layer.“
“We love this place, it's the only pizzaria in rvc we'll eat at/from! Even though I believe the owner, John is it? Is a Rangers fan he doesn't hold my being a die hard Islanders fan against me! ? Staff is friendly making for a more comfortable atmosphere! My food suggestion/s would be, try it all! Thank you for the service, sys! And remember, the change...has ? hahahaha ?“
“The food at this restaurant is authentically Jamaican. I had a boat ride last year in Freeport, Long Island. The owner/chef not only delivered the food to my boatride but also helped to set up. This is by far some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. My guests raved about the food all night. This review is long overdue and I just realized that I hadn't written one. Better late than never I suppose! ?“
“Roman style pizza sounded interesting, so we stopped in and tried some. Very glad we did because it was amazing. We ended up with 4 slices. 2 Roman style, 2 traditional. The Roman style were sausage with broccoli rabe and spinach with artichoke. The traditional were a burrata and vodka pepperoni basil and pesto slice. I can't tell you which was the best because they were all amazing. It was nice to get some slices with fresh greens on them that actually tasted good.I wish I had taken a picture of all the pizza because the variety of slices they had was crazy. Maybe next time I'll get the truffel slice.Parking: Parking in the area.“
“Hidden gem. Not just a pizza joint. They have lots of hidden options like the Korean Chili Chicken or Chicken Teriyaki. I’ve also purchased delicious naan from here as well. All at reasonable prices and very delicious. I wouldn’t necessarily dine in due to the atmosphere but I always visit because of the quality of food. ??“
“Simply fantastic. Fresh crisp salads, with the perfect amount of dressing. Hot mouth-watering, cheese pie that was just out of the oven. And thoughtfully wrapped decadent chicken parm sandwich to go (and made everyone on the plane jealous when eaten a few hours later). Location super easy to get to from Cross Island Pkwy. Kudos & keep slayin’!!“
“Food truck with a great pizza and outdoor seating. Pizza is really really good, reminds me of the trendy sourdough places in the city. Only thing to potentially criticize is the bottom is a bit on the burnt side, but I'd say that's part of this style of Pizza.“
“We have lived around the corner since Sapori's opened and never went in before. Yesterday the rain forced us to venture in and we were so pleasantly surprised, and felt silly for never eating here before. The service is great and the food is delicious and fresh. Some other local spots have drastically gone down hill with their food quality, so it's nice to go somewhere and get an amazing meal that's worth your money. We will definitely be regulars from now on! Looking forward to next time!“
“First time buying from this pizzeria and it was great. The staff member in the front was super friendly and kind. She was very accommodating. The garlic knots were so good and the mozzarella sticks were hot and fresh. Glad there is a pizzeria in the area!“
“The staff and owners are very professional, welcoming, and seem to enjoy interacting with customers, especially those who are regulars. The pizza is excellent. I tried the Primavera, Vodka, Grandma, and Neopoliton, and all were delicious. Their entrees are good as well. I enjoyed the Eggplant Rolitini. I definitely recommend that you go there.Vegetarian options: Pasta or Pizza Primavera, Eggplant dishes, pasta, salad.“
“We recently moved to Lynbrook and Gallery Four is one of our favorite restaurants for take-out. We order frequently. Our meal comes with salad and bread. Their food is delicious, fresh, and affordable. We have ordered chicken francese, lasagna, chicken parm, penne alla vodka, and garlic knots. Will continue ordering from them and trying new meals. ?“
“"We always used to order from another pizzeria near by us but never been able to eat the crust, one day when we try their pizza here, I ate the entire slice with the crust, that even my boyfriend was surprised. He asked me "How come you're able to eat their crust?" and I told him, "Because they never burned the bread and the crust is toasty/soft that won't break your teeth. Their service is good, they always serve quick. The ambiance is good, relaxing and not too crowded it. Now we started to order online and the "others" they used to take 45 mins or more, with Village Pizzeria, they estimate 45 minutes but they show up before that and the pizza still hot, which is a good thing. Now, I always will eat the crust!! Keep up the good work and never change the way to make the pizza! and their garlic nods are good too! Next, will be their pasta.. Till next! Lilly“
