“One of the best Kbbq if not the best kbbq restaurant I’ve ever been to. The eel was so fresh, the short rib was marinated to perfection. But the best thing on the table was the kimchi. The kimchi was crunchy, it was seasoned perfectly, and it was fermented just enough to pair perfectly with the proteins. The hospitality was amazing! The lady treated our party like her relatives and showed us what’s real hospitality is. My friends and I love how kind she was to us and we could not ask for a better meal. “I went to a family friend’s 70th birthday party they hosted in the Atlantic ballroom. The space was modern and very clean. The food was DELICIOUS!!! And the workers, Yiselle, Estrellita, and Shorty (blonde) made the event so memorable! They paid attention to every detail, whether it was filling our water cups, collecting unused plates and of course they did it all with a warm smile. They were kind, funny and very welcoming. To end on a high note for me is their beautifully made cappuccino. Davenport is conveniently located just a 3 mins walk from the beginning of Track 2 of the Mineola stop on the LIRR. It's a warm, reliable favorite that hasn't disappointed.“

Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Pla Ma Nao was one of my favorites — the whole branzino was tender, and the spicy lime broth was bright, tangy, and full of Thai flavors. The Tom Yum seafood was also excellent, with a rich, spicy and sour broth and plenty of seafood.

The papaya salad (Som Tum) was fresh, crunchy, spicy and refreshing, and went perfectly with the heavier dishes. We ordered several dishes to share and honestly everything on the table worked really well together.

If you like authentic, bold Thai flavors, this is definitely a place worth trying. Highly recommend the Pla Ma Nao, Tom Yum, and papaya salad. We’ll definitely be back!“

Today I went for a lobster roll which replaced the shrimp roll. last year this lobster was so delicious 😋 couldn't wait till the summer. unfortunately, I was highly disappointed. it is not longer on a garlic bun and now served on a plain hot dog bun :( also flavorless! last yr price was $24 and now up to $28 with no flavor and blah bun. please bring back the recipe from years before. thanks“

Because I have strict dietary needs, I requested my meal with no Monosodium Glutamate, no seafood sauce, no soy sauce, less salt, and less oil. Before taking my order, Kevin went straight to the chef to confirm that the kitchen could accommodate my specific requests.

His attention to detail was incredible throughout the meal. When we ordered the stir-fried water spinach and shredded potatoes, he remembered that the potato dish usually includes dried spicy peppers. Knowing I cannot handle spicy food, he proactively double-checked to ensure the peppers were left out.

“Came here for lunch because I’ve been craving some hotpot. I’m so glad I did. They have a wide selection of meats, seafood and veggies. I had the pork neck soup base which was rich and delicious. My favorite cut of meat so fat is the snowflake beef. It’s fatty, buttery and tender. The kimchi is amazing as well. Customer service is great. They leave you alone while still being attentive. And just in case they aren’t around, there’s a call bell. The seating is very private. They have booths that can close for even more privacy. The booths seat 6. Definitely recommend!“

All were fresh and tasted delicious. I care about fresh seafood. Prices are not cheap, but with seafood, quality really matters. There also appears to be a sushi restaurant onsite, which I'll have to try next time I'm in town. Roslyn is fortunate to have several local gourmet markets and this counts.“

Our beautiful table was in the perfect spot to take in all of what the Rockaway Hotel has to offer. The outside bar and Pool house are exquisite. The pool was bustling with excitement. I’m personally not a big fan of “chaotic” dishes, so I really enjoyed how simple yet delicious everything was. I usually take pictures, but I forgot to take picture of any of the dishes i ate here because it was gone so quick.

Definitely recommend the scallops and octopus for appetizers and loved the orata and lobster roll for mains. My partner said he really enjoyed the burger as well!

Customer service was also excellent, from the time we came into the time we left everyone was extremely considerate and friendly.

“Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we are SO glad did - everything was perfect! Everyone could not get over how delicious all the food was. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. He even came over and sang for our party and had us dance which was not expected but a fun surprise that we loved! Overall we had a great event here and I am so happy we chose them to host it!“
