“Everything was super fresh – you can really taste the quality. The chef paced the meal perfectly, following our speed without rushing. Each course came with a short, clear introduction, which made the experience feel thoughtful and personal.
The menu had highlights like toro with caviar, A5 wagyu, and sweet shrimp with uni – all delicious.
Highly recommend if you appreciate fresh ingredients and a relaxed, attentive chef.
Will be back“

“Check out my I G lawyer.traveler.dreamer for more footage of our experience. Bodai in Midtown Manhattan offers a rare and memorable dining experience. The restaurant blends Buddhist philosophy with royal vegetarian cuisine inspired by the Qing Palace. It was my first time trying a full vegetarian tasting menu, and I was impressed by how flavorful and creative every dish was. The mushroom dishes stood out the most, especially the Stichotas japonicus with cucumber sauce, the pan-seared boletus with green millet, and the Nepal mushroom quinoa with pepper sauce. Each course felt balanced and intentional—low oil, low sugar, and focused on natural taste. Even traditional dishes like Buddha Jumps Over the Wall and zhajiang noodles were reimagined beautifully. The dessert, called “Nectar of the Core,” was light and refreshing. Dining at Bodai feels like a calm, thoughtful journey through color, texture, and flavor. If you’re looking for an elevated vegetarian meal in NYC, this is worth a visit.“

“GM Jill greeted me with a big welcoming smile!
Jill is the consummate professional leading her team by a strong example !
Juanita our waitress created an “indulging environment”! Her service was outstanding - particulary when she served me my vodka Martini - chilled to perfection - poured into my glass up to the rim of the glass. We ordered house specialty beef & tuna plates - prepared to perfection - begun with my favorite jumbo shrimp cocktail.
We look forward to returning.
Bonnie from Manhattan.“

“So this is a new Greek restaurant in Hollis Hills Queens -
Upscale prices and vibe with fair reasonable pricing
What a little treasure - the owners Gus & Maria also own the Greek Family Kitchen and the nicest people ever

The food was truly delicious - it’s a new place with a very warm and inviting decor

The menu selection is very generous and we had 5 different appetizers and they were all delicious and well prepared

It has a Manhattan vibe right here in Queens

We discovered it by accident and we were very pleasantly surprised - it’s a must go to place and we intend to return there for many times to come“

“Eating at the four seasons is obviously an expensive endeavor but it's a beautiful setting, we were there at Christmas time so we had a clear view of the beautiful tall Christmas tree in the foyer and our breakfast was delicious. My husband said it was the best omelette he had eaten ever in his life. I had the New York breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. The staff was wonderful.“
