A short walk from the subway.(Up a very steep staircase) Very charming place. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Had to wait a bit for a table. There was a large party in back that I believe took up a lot of the seating this place has. Food was great. We had the traditional Irish breakfast and the omelette special they had. Delicious! Brunch came with a free drink. We got the mimosa. It came in a medium size ball jar! It was yummy and left me with a nice buzz.I totally recommend this place. The appetizer and the food came quickly but not unreasonably so. They seemed to have the timing down. We had fish tacos which were good, but not exceptional. I had a steak which was delicious and cooked as ordered. The twice baked potato was so so. It didn't match the quality of my steak or vegetables. My wife had a simple beet salad which h she enjoyed. “We went for my dad's 75th birthday last night after doing a pub crawl down McClean Avenue. The service was INCREDIBLE!! One of my frustrations was that the peppercorn sauce was an additional, based on other places this is something that is normally included or at least can be added, $6 for a cup of sauce was pretty higher, on the other note the sauce was very good The service was good, waitress was attentive as much as needed and not overwhelming or absent. The ambiance is an Irish bar, on one note I would have preferred some Irish music playing vs the 80s music that they had going or on the tvs the news and something bloody. “This is a nice neighborhood bar and restaurant and our server was so friendly and helpful. We got there early so we chatted with our server while selecting our drinks. My husband had Guinness Half and half, and I struggled because there were no sours on tap or in cans. I read the draft list more carefully and selected a Down East Cider after having a taste. It was a good choice with a strong apple flavor, a little carbonation and a medium sweetness The menu looked good and the specials sounded nice and next time we will give it a try. “Placed a large take-out order with Flora on 2/25/24. Items were packed neatly and some sides were packed separately, as requested. The standouts are definitely the Shepard's pie and pot roast. Had the potato skins for an app, tasted so hot and homemade, loved the bloody mary too. My mom had the cheeseburger and said it was delicious too. The service was great and we sat outside in the enclosed patio. It was very comfortable and nice. Highly recommend! The owner was also very friendly & nice too. Will definitely be going back!“
