“Been there a few times. I must say food is fantastic!!! The fish tacos and the southwestern chicken sandwich is a must try. They have different specials everyday. Friendly atmosphere, service is very attentive. Love trivia nights and live music on Saturdays. So far is my favorite place to go with friends and family. “The Canary is by far the best locals bar in Crown Heights. Everyone is very friendly. Excellent food with an array of the best beer and whiskey Ireland has to offer. “I’ve attended many birthdays and other special occasions in the main front room at Mug’s, and recently hosted a small get together on a Thursday night. The staff was super accommodating in helping me reserve a few high-top tables, especially given how last-minute my request was. The space is well laid out for gatherings of 20 to 25 people if you are looking to enjoy a bar atmosphere without having to be in a private room. Looking forward to my next visit!“

“It's in my opinion one of the most famous Irish bars in the Bronx. Almost every great Irish performer has been to this pub more than once. Paddy Reilly, Bagatelle and Niall & The Durty Nelly's to name a few...?It's a family run business and the staff are very welcoming. The burgers are also the best in the city, I kid you not.“

“My fiance and I found this place one night after working late. We try to come once a week for an hour or two to unwind. It's one of our favorite bars in Queens. Drinks and prices are good, atmosphere is laid back and chill. Outside seating area for smoking and drinking.

“Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. Surprised that this isn't one of those spots with a long wait as the space is open and inviting, the service good and the food very good. We had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and a shrimp po boy. Both excellent. Will come back for sure“

“Came here with friends to watch the NY Liberty game. It’s a spacious bar, with ample seating throughout. I do wish the game was played on more than one screen (only one screen was playing the game, so we had to cram over people to get a view of the screen). The food was good, and came quite fast. The bartender was very nice, and made my drink EXACTLY how I wanted it. Just wish they played local games on more than 1 screen.

“The place is amazing. The only problem called Eni. All other girls are amazing. Avoid her by any means because she is horrible to her coworkers. Many great people (bartenders left) left because she was mean to them. The place is great for local late night drinks as long as Eni is not working.“

“My family wanted to try a new place for dinner this weekend and Jamesons was it. The atmosphere is warm and inviting so we felt comfortable the moment we walked in. Our waitress Sarah was great...super friendly and made us feel right at home. We ordered the French Onion soup (excellent) and Pretzel Sticks (ok) as appetizers. The French Onion soup ($12) was very delicious but the pretzel sticks ($12) we probably wouldnt order again. There were 2 Pretzels to the order which my wife and I thought was a little pricey for what they were. My 7 year old ordered the chicken fingers and fries which were better than I had expected them to be. My wife ordered the Fish and Chips ($25) - super tasty, very fresh, and cooked to perfection. I ordered the Reuben ($24) super yummy which was a special for the evening. My wife and I both agreed after sharing that both meals were excellent. Key Lime Pie and a cappuccino finshed us off both of which did not disappoint. Overall, food and presentation were top notch and the service was excellent ---Thanks again Sarah! My wife and I both felt it was a little pricey but we would definitely go back.“

Vegetables are not fresh & not enough quantity. I had to ask for a good amount of veggies on my burger since the last time I went there all they gave me was a leaf of lettuce (the core!) & 3 strips of onions. Ps Spicy mayo sauce is good“

“(Nov 2014) Uber cool high tech mod fitout and no shortage of opinionated beer nerds (complete with obligatory cult brewery t-shirts). Even at 2pm on a Sunday arvo. Doesn’t quite have the warm of a traditional US bar but still pretty friendly. Very international list with a focus on left of centre. Pricing on the high side but reflects the quality of the beers. Served via cabernet glasses - a nice touch. I really grew to like the place and they use a small space well. Can I say it reminds me of Two Row in Melbourne? And....btw....the only other bar I have ever seen where punters are punching out tasting notes!“

Besides Peter our regular loved bartender I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a amazing experience in an already established bar. I came here to see Peter and already were amazed at Jimmy the bartender, which Jimmy went ahead and surprised me when I saw he is another high caliber service orientation bartender and definitely an asset to this location.“
