Red sausage is not delicious
The $14 chicken rack comes with cilantro and raw onions, which is not delicious.

“These are recent photos but I’ve been going here since I lived in Queens in 1980. Food tastes exactly the same and that’s a good thing. The prepared foods are just solid. The customer service is amazing and the feel is homely. I always feel like I’m going home when I walk into Meal Mart in Queens. Thanks for keeping it going!“

It is chock full of yummy surprises, all arranged beautifully, in perfect condition. There was such a generous amount of food, they could make a meal and still graze after. The meat, cheese, fruit, nuts & dried fruit were premium quality & we’re told, very delicious. It arrived in a cute huge box, with flowers & a honey dipper tied into the colorful wrapping twine. “This is my go to place, food is excellent, I tried multiple things on the menu and they're all great. I mostly do take out. I would love to eat in but this place is like a hole in the wall small. Place itself is very clean, cute and cozy, it just that it is really small so there are like maybe 3 tables, so you would have to be lucky to walk in when it's slow so you can get a table.“

“I picked up a few different types of kimchi- one cabbage, the other made with bachelor radishes. Both are delicious. I also picked up a non-spicy white kimchi for my wife. For lunch, I chose a package of dumplings- 4 kimchi and 4 pork. And I couldn’t pass up the spicy tuna Kim bap- and I am glad that I didn’t!
My first time here- extremely clean, and the staff was very helpful. I was hoping to buy a small package of the regular cabbage kimchi but they did not have any in the display cases. They were kind enough to go back to the kitchen and put one together for me.
There isn’t any option to dine in- no tables or anything, but well worth the visit for take out. :-)“

“A little hole-in-the wall Korean joint near the 7 train/LIRR stop in Woodside Queens. I stop there a couple of times a week after work to pickup dinner. There aren’t any sit-down tables, but the food more than makes up for it. The classic Korean dishes are delicious and satisfying. I love how generous they are with the veggies. Everything is fresh and homemade. The people here are always so kind and welcoming too. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic, no-frills, tasty Korean food!“
