Also got a side of guacamole which was a bit bland. Noting for those looking for actual Mexican food, this is not Mexican food, but rather an Americanized version of Mexican food.“

Walking into Peekskill public you get an immediate nostalgia for Dublin, Ireland, it's a cool feeling.U guys got wings? Yes some of the best, the friendly bartender said and of course they'll all say that.With a good selection of cold NA beers, was happy to have 2 before being handed a plate of wings (buffalo), a perfect mix of drums and flats. “WOWThis was a huge surprise. I was visiting a customer in Peekskill New York, and pulled over to grab a small bite to eat from a food truck. I pulled into the lot and noticed there was a big line. When I got on line there were a lot of regulars talking about what they were going to order. I asked one of them what they would recommend, and they said you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. They were so right.I got an order of taco's. You got to pick any three taco's you wanted. and the order came with hand cut fries, and this amazing lime aioli. I had a chorizo, fish, and chicken taco. They might have been the best I ever had. After I finished I had to tell the owner how great the food was. He happened to be the nicest guy, and was truly happy to hear that I thoroughly enjoyed his food. He makes all of his food fresh daily, and makes his own chorizo.I went home that night, and told my son about the truck. That weekend I stopped by again, this time with my son and his fiance. Octavio remembered me right away. We ordered a braised short rib grill cheese on Texas toast, a Cuban sandwich that he made with his own smoked pulled pork, and his home made empanada's. All three of us were amazed with his food.My son was getting married in three weeks, and we had rented an Airbnb for the weekend, and were throwing a rehearsal dinner for about 40 people the night before the wedding. We had already planned on having it catered, but my son mentioned why don't we do something different, and see if Octavio would bring his food truck to the Airbnb instead of using a caterer. It wound up being fantastic. We spoke with Octavio, and picked five items off the menu to serve that night. “My husband and I tried the Bird and Bottle Inn on Friday. The burrata and peach appetizer was delicious. The mint flavor in the pasta and lamb special really made the dish. I had the sesame tuna special with the coconut carrot ginger purée. Everything was perfect. So many good flavors. We tried a few different cocktails and they were all amazing! The building is also beautifully restored and we loved reading the history of it on the back of the menu. We will definitely be eating here again!“

“I ordered the porchetta sandwich. It looked better than it tasted. The ciabatta was not a true ciabatta and did not go with the sandwich. The porchetta was just crisped up pork belly and was skimpy on the portion considering the price of the sandwich. The waitress said I can substitute the fries for any of the sides but didn't state there would be an upcharge. There was tiny fine print under the sandwiches that says they'll be an upcharge but it's very easy to overlook. I opted for the warm cabbage side which was very tasty and would order again.My friend ordered the beet salad and that looked amazing. I'd suggest trying that and if I go again I'll order that instead.Lastly, the water glass had lipstick on it. I wasn't wearing any. When I asked for a fresh and clean water glass, there was no acknowledgement about the lipstick, even after I pointed it out. That was unprofessional, in my opinion as a former waitress and bartender.Overall, will I go back? Eventually, yes but it's towards the bottom of the list of things to do.“

“I had my daughter-in-law‘s shower here, and everybody still talks about it three years later! We had it in the restaurant part, as long as you have 50 people or more, you can have the Champagne Brunch. We had about 80! It was one of the best showers ever! UNLIMITED mimosas and champagne, and the buffet goes from breakfast foods, all the way into lunch foods! Everything imaginable from baked ziti, Penne vodka, fresh shrimp, eggplant parm, chicken parm, AND the owner/Chef himself was slicing up fresh Prime Rib!!! The service was impeccable! “This was our seventh time celebrating Thanksgiving here and we were so happy to be here! Genera was our server and she was wonderful and kind. Dad is a Marine living at The VA Nursing Home at Montrose and this is his favorite place because they always treat him well and the food is delicious. Everything is electric blue and a little eclectic. The menu even has back lighting! Every menu needs this feature. The piano keys across the piano room was my favorite. Evidently, they also.habe live music on occasion. We only got drinks and apps and sat at the bar. We decided on Bang bang shrimp and Tempura Fried Cauliflower. “The breakfast there is the ideal and classic NY diner style. The food is always hot, and cooked to perfection, not under seasoned, not over seasoned. Their use of oil and butter is also great, as it is not too greasy but just enough to add texture and be used as a cooking agent. Pancakes are great, and the eggs, bacon and sausage are all great as well. Home fries are what I would consider ideal, not to greasy or over seasoned, but crunchy on the outside and stuff on the inside. The atmosphere is what you would expect at a classic dinette, small and cozy. The aesthetic tastefully combines modern with the 50s "lunch car" decorum. The service is very good and all the waiters/waitresses we're very attentive and kind. Would definitely recommend.“

We started with a caesar salad and it was truly amazing. We had about 13 of us who enjoyed a nice lunch after a hike, and they attended to us very well. There are seats facing the river which is even more beautiful. The menu is diverse and i actually enjoyed everything that i tried. The spinach mushroom gruyere pizza was really good. And, the bread they serve at the table is also amazing! Foccacia bread and we dipped it in olive oil. Lots of bangers at this place. A couple of guys got some orange beer that looked amazing. I would have liked some more game options, especially since they have a sports bar section for adults. They also have an axe throwing setup as well. Part of this place is under renovation. We were pleasantly surprised by stumble upon this place by searching Google. “My husband and I went for Valentine's Day dinner. I booked a reservation on Open Table, at least I thought I did! The staff could not find it; but they were gracious, and immediately seated us. But not too gracious, when my husband asked if we could be seated in one of the larger booths, we were told "no, they were reserved". Of course, three of them remained empty the entire time we were there. The food: it was nice that we had the option of ordering from the special Valentine's day menu, or from the regular menu. I had the wonderful beet salad, and the maple burger, which was cooked perfectly. Sadly, my French fries were an embarrassment to any restaurant that has ever served fries! Overcooked, lukewarm- terrible! My husband ordered from the Valentine's menu, started with a salmon sushi, which he Ioved, and his cocoa beef entree was excellent, and he can be picky.He also enjoyed his brownie sundae, I did not try it (chocolate allergy). My sticky toffee pudding, which I've had here before, was as excellent as I remembered it. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, and put up with my husband's grilling her (we learned that she has a golden retriever).
