This is not the case with Basil Leaf Grill. Everything that I have tried is a home run. The service is swift and accommodating when you dine in as well as the pickup service. If you order for pick up, the order will be ready in about 10 minutes. The restaurant is comfortable with mainly high partitioned booths. Lastly, the drunken noodles with beef is the best.“
“I had the Duck Pad See Ew now these noodles remind me of drunken noodle so if you like that then you will love this dish! The duck was succulent and crispy on the outside cooked to perfection wow! The food was tasty but not salty and greasy like other Thai places I have tried recently. The chef is top notch and knows what she is doing for real just the right balance of flavor and taste in every single bite. Next up I had the appetizer the main event the "Zaab" Spicy Chicken Wings. I've never had chicken wings with this particular flavor or seasoning before so this was new territory for me. No need to worry though as you're in good hands like All State with this chef she is no joke and has clearly put in her 10,000 hours and then some respectfully. It was a dry rub fried chicken wing with spicy chili flakes or chili powder rubbed underneath and/or on top of the wing itself which was fried and coated to perfection I was impressed thoroughly to say the least. This was the sleeper and highlight our orders. We also ordered last but not least the chicken pad Thai which was flavorful and the ingredients were super fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this place can't say it enough five stars is a minimum! By the way and oh yes please try the Thai Iced Tea and Coconut Water for good measure to wash down your meal. Needed a little bit of salt but that's easily fixed and I'd rather have less salt in a dish than too much!Partner said the shrimp was cooked beautifully in their noodles and was very flavourful.Had the ras Malai for dessert and it was really good too. The fact I had ordered on Uber eats and uber eats canceled my order due to the driver taking long & restaurant closing up, but as soon as my order was cancelled on the app, this restaurant actually did not hesitate to contact me directly, to tell me that they will deliver the food to me & did ask where was I located, which I mentioned “Far Rockaway” & which this excellent restaurant was still nice & Great about delivering my orders, I did mention that I was very understandable & I would pay for the toll for them to come over & go back which was just 4$ total & then tip them very well in my part which they actually deserved! I can say that this Long Beach Chines restaurant is on top of the line! Please don’t miss out at all! I never had ever tasted A excellent Special House fried rice like theirs, along with there Chicken wings, Jumbo Shrimps, shrimps Broccoli & White rice, & French Fries, & Egg Roll, that tasted amazing & was NOT GREECY at all! I only have had one mishap--I have a severe fish allergy, and ordered a shrimp teriyaki bento box that comes with a California roll. They will usually substitute a Shrimp Tempura roll for the fish-based CA Roll. This last order I received was delicious except for the roll contained imitation crab (which is made with pollock--FISH!). One bite and I knew something was awfully wrong. Don't know if someone was asleep at the wheel or if they just didn't care(?!).Despite the mishap, I will continue ordering from them, It's just SOOO GOOD! But will be especially vigilant when it comes to the to roll portion of my order(s)!“

Well, we were very pleasantly surprised. The decor was beautiful and we were greeted warmly. We tried the drunken noodles, pad thai and all were delicious with the perfect amount of heat. Ive had alot of Thai noodles and these were a couple of stars beyond. Frank the owner was so friendly. Apparently his wife is the chef. I def wanna come back to try the other more adventurous dishes.
