I had a turkey sub with white American cheese, shredded lettuce, vinegar, salt & pepper, mayo -- and it was hot, fresh, and made just right. Simple combo, big flavor.
My sister also said the staff was super friendly, and the place was very clean, neat, and organized. You can really tell the food is fresh from the first bite.
Highly recommend the Jersey Mike's Subs at the Fresh Meadows location -- definitely a solid go-to for a good sub. Sorry for the picture, I forgot to take a picture before I bit into it. I was hungry.“

Small place but seriously mighty. No fluff, no gimmicks, just unreal, farm-to-table food done right.

The meatball sandwich? I think about it daily. Perfectly seasoned, rich, and messy in the best way. The kind of sandwich you don’t forget. And the Burrata sandwich was just as incredible, packed with flavor and made with so much care you can taste it in every bite.

We tried the BEC (bacon, egg and cheese) on Croissant and it was delicious! The croissant was hot and fluffy. The bacon was crisp and the cheese was warm and melty. We all split one and had to go back for another. I also tried the black drip coffee — it’s standard but has a good dark roast flavor. I drink americanos usually, so this was a bit dark for me but personally it’s way better than a black coffee at Starbucks.“

I love that they use unbromated flour and I appreciate that every piece (even the specialty slices with many heavy toppings) has great structure, no flop. Thin & crispy crust, great ratio of sauce and cheese. I also love how clean the restaurant is. They have some incredible specialty slices that I never knew I needed in my life until I tried them! Especially the “Desi Boy” slice and the “white truffle chicken cutlet” slice. I also have to mention their vodka slice with sesame crust 🤤 Everything in this place is high quality, even their regular slices. Their sandwiches are pretty incredible too, and you can tell that the bread is fresh made in house— you don’t feel bloated or overly stuffed after eating them! The owner is super friendly and even gave us a couple extra slices to try to complete our “pie” when we had already ordered a small variety of slices. The staff are all very friendly and it feels very comfortable and less stuffy than some of the other pizzerias in the area. Happy to give this place my business. “Who normalized charging $20 for an Italian sub? It just feels un-American. Thankfully D&F in Astoria is more patriotic than that and their Italian combo hero is a very reasonable $10.50. It comes with all the classic meats, provolone, and oil & vinegar. My personal opinion is that an Italian sandwich is better after a few hours in the fridge so plan accordingly.“

The menu choices are excellent, we had truffle fries, I had the P48 Panini (steak, mozzarella with peppers & onions) and to cap off as a desert, I had the Iced Nutella Latte... All were excellent.
