“My grandma and I always go here and get pad Thai with mock duck. The food is heavenly! Anything good you could say about the food is true! The duck is crispy on the outside and buttery melt-in-your-mouth on the inside, and the flavor of the sauce is just incredible! The glass noodles are light and have a perfect texture. The regular noodles are filling and also perfect. Oh- and the peanut sauce that comes with the salad is the best peanut sauce you could ever imagine! It’s so addicting, and has a tad kick to it (I think you can only get that at lunch though). My grandma and I only ate there in person a couple times, but the service was great, considering how crowded the restaurant always is (I think the fact that it’s always stuffed to the brim is a sign of a good restaurant :). They had good vibes and a really chill aesthetic. We always get the food delivered, and it comes in a really short amount of time. My grandma also loves this food; we get food that’s not spicy, because we are both sensitive to spice (but if you like spice, they have dishes with that too). I wanted to think of something I didn’t like here, but I can’t! All in all, eat here!! (Also, hack for more duck; when asking for extra mock duck, ask for it in a separate container; that way you can see just how much you’re getting, and they can’t skimp! The logic behind this is when there’s an already full container full of food, you can’t add that much more duck; so when you have a separate container, they can fill it all the way up!)“

“My daughter graduated college and this was her choice for a family dinner after such a long day! Such an amazing experience. From the second we arrived until we left service was excellent. Thai food was delicious and the cocktails were unique and highly recommended. We had a decent size party and they accommodated us comfortably and every one of us enjoyed our meals.“

“Everything we ordered was tasty, I’d recommend coming with at least four people so you can sample more of the menu. My boyfriend and I had the drunken noodle, rice salad, fried chicken starter, crab fried rice and Thai tea cake.. I left wanting to try more even though I was uncomfortably full by the end of the meal!

Drunken noodles were delicious but it was on the oily side. We loved that it was addictively spicy.

Crab fried rice is a must get. Also on the greasy side but an actual flavor bomb.

“I came here because of their amazing 4.9 rating on Google Maps, however, I was not amazed by their food. I got curry puffs to start my dinner. The puffs were nice and flavorful. The outside was light and flaky, and the insides were well seasoned with nice texture. The sauce came with was too sweet to my liking. Personally I prefer eating it as it is. I pad see ew with shrimp and added beef($5). The flavor was nice and the shrimp was fresh and clean. However, the beef wasn’t so good especially when I paid $5 extra for them. It was too dry and chewy.
Overall, it’s a standard Thai restaurant. The food was nice but nothing special about it.“

“By far the best Som Tam I've ever eaten outside of Thailand, and I've tried quite a few. Very fresh and aromatic papaya, and just the right blend of lime and fish sauce round it all out. I also highly recommend the Sai Ua, a Chiang Mai sausage with herbs. Simply delicious in a stylish and very well-kept ambiance. Highly recommended.“

I’ve tried all the Crown Heights spots and this one beats them out of the water. Let me explain…their portions are amazing. Their food is FULL of veggies and meat. THEY DO NOT SKIMP. I love beef but I feel like the Asian spots I go to don’t have amazing beef. Holic has the best beef I’ve ever had at a Thai spot. Their lunch special is an incredible deal. I get a veggie full soup (coconut or tom kha) and a noodle or fried rice dish. Also, I tend to come solo because this is my local spot. They treat me with so much respect. One time I came with some allergies and the owner saw me and brought me a hot tea. Seriously they treat people so well. At night the spot becomes a cute vibey spot with a little bit of a night life flare. I don’t drink much but still love the feeling of being here. “A taste of authentic Bangkok in the heart of Astoria. Had the fried chicken curry plate where the aromatic rice was so delicious I couldn’t stop eating it. We also had the spicy Tom yum chicken soup.. it was like a hug for the soul. Along with the Som Tum pla ra (papaya salat with anchovies 🥰) Just what we needed after walking around Astoria. The customer service was impeccable. It’s always an exceptional dining experience when the people who work there genuinely love what they are serving. You can genuinely taste the love in each bite! “A quaint and locals-favorite Thai restaurant serving prime dishes. We enjoyed every single dish that was brought to our table. The portions are plenty to share around the table: we had a party of four and ordered 2 entrees, 3 appetizers and a dessert.
The Branzino is the highlight of our dinner, which came with a grand presentation. Fish tasted clean and a hint of sweetness—delectable. We also recommend the Veggie Curry Puff, a savory and flaky goodness. As for dessert, we opted for their second best, Banana Pudding with Ice Cream since they were out of Mango Sticky Rice. “In my 15 years in NYC, this is the best Thai delivery I have ever had. Everything was delicious - we got pad see ew, crab fried rice, gaeng dang, Kanom jeeb, and crab Rangoon. “Great neighborhood spot for Thai food! We decided to walk in to Thai Tree after voting in the hottest Election Day that ever was, and they did not disappoint.

Server was friendly and quick, always kept our waters full, and he was knowledgeable about what could be made vegan or not.

Sadly the papaya salad can’t be made vegan, but we had plenty of other options. Portions were huge; we both ended up packing up leftovers of our noodles.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and are looking forward to coming back! Next time we’ll remember to save room for dessert 😝“
