“People it's me again and this time I'm in the Applebee's Restaurant and Bar in Hicksville NY (South Broadway Rd next to the Lowe's and I have to say that everything that I've eaten here and the beers is best the food is amazing all the meats are moist and have flavors like nothing you would expect the people here are great and I'm telling you all to come here and believe me you will never stop bring your family and friends and everyone will enjoy it they have TV's all over and you know now the world cup football (soccer) is on well you can watch it without having to distress yourself because there's so many screens you can watch it on and every other sporting events... But the people there are great and the food is best so I'm telling you go....

“Went to Tap Room tonight for happy hour and had a very good experience. The host sat us down and reviewed the menu and happy hour specials. The server Devlin was very nice and polite as well. Enjoyed the food and definitely would recommend it.“

“Great bar! Love going there. Excellent bartenders and they have fantastic events and parties. And since they bought DiMaggios next door the food has taken a step up from their normally great food and specials. The place looks really nice, too! The people who go there are wonderful... stop in for a drink and food. You will not be disappointed and don't forget your darts.“

“This is a great spot to get some delicious wings and cold beers! Watch sports, talk to new people, catch a live band! Make sure you go on Saturday night to see James behind the bar! He's not just great for beers and conversation, He can make any cocktail you want! (Low key date night with ALL the sports??) James (Jimmy) will soon become a familiar friend. Or just go after work to unwind with a few beers and some folks you worked hard with that day. Go go go! (And the owner is an awesome guy) Lets support this joint!“

“I met a friend for lunch. I got there early but they seated me. I had a chicken Caesar wrap, which was large pieces of white meat chicken and Caesar salad nicely wrapped in a tortilla. It was accompanied by unremarkable fries.
Service was attentive and friendly and they kept my qater glass full.“

“Large restaurant with Beautiful artwork and lots of space, including a rooftop. Great service. The atmosphere is upscale but down to earth at the same time. The menu has something for everyone. It's not cheap but for the quality and amount of food, the prices are reasonable. They also have a very good Bread Basket and at the end of the meal they give a small complimentary drink. Great Cocktails. The Playlist was wonderful. I've been wanting to come here for a long time and it was definitely worth the wait“

“I have been going here for over 10 years. It’s a great place except now they put in new lighting, which just gives me a headache. It would be better if they were able to put a small maybe 6 inch curtain around the lights so that the light would shine only on the tables, but would not be in anyone’s eyes.“

“Lovely place. Came in for brunch and we really enjoyed our visit. Not giving 5 stars to the food because my son was not very happy with his choice (Grilled Chicken paillard) in the restaurant’s defense, maybe he should’ve asked more about how the chicken was cooked. Thru time "The Great" Umbertos decided to create NY's BEST BRICK OVEN PIZZA (meat lover) and BUFFALO CALAMARI and the rest as they say is history. Umbertos manages the appetite of my wife and mine each and every Friday evening and most definitely do an extraordinary job (to say the least) and my wife and I couldn't be happier. The owners along with their Umbertos staff are"The Tops" as Mel Tormae would say. Umbertos is to culinary arts what Glen is to carpentry -"A TRUE VISIONARY!"- So in conclusion, don't walk BUT run to Umbertos because you don't want them, you NEED them for all your belly filling needs. xoxoxoxoxoxo Jen & Dan Bailey“
