“We had a small plates dinner with drinks on a Saturday night. We were initially worried because there were only a few people dining, but it picked up shortly after we were seated. Wines are the star - so many to choose of high quality by the glass. Wish they had more flights on the menu. I think the food was the biggest surprise. It was very good and it does not play second fiddle to the wine. Garlic shrimp had a nice kick; fried calamari was on point; and short rib sliders were tasty. Will definitely return for other plates and the charcuterie boards. One drawback was the service - while super friendly, we felt they let you sit a little too long before taking orders.“

The perfectly poached egg in the creamy mentai udon is the best mentai udon I have had- much lighter but more flavorful than what you would find in Japan Village. This restaurant belongs on St. Marks Place in the city! May is so sweet… definitely excited to bring friends and family back the next time around!“

“When I did a search for 'breweries' in Westchester County, this place popped up. They do brew their own beer but it's really more of a taproom/bar than a brewery. The Here Comes My Girl IPA was delicious and the Rose (on tap) was great too. They have a small menu of food options which looked very appealing. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. Right before we left, some live music got going and many of the people there were having some drinks before going to the Capitol Theatre for a show. I definitely want to come back here soon!“

The Owner Carlos called to discuss his availabilities and mention that Tentempie Madrid is a traditional tapas with only small plates, NO MAIN COURSE and house wines and beer... Loved the call, perfect table for two at 7:30!My boyfriend and I were greeted by the Owners wife, and seated right away... She was just as lovely! What a great duo!! My boyfriend & I could be wrong BUT they seemed to be the only two running the magic over there... And they do it very very well!!!!! What a treat we were in for!!!FOOD: 5 STARS! We started off with drinks, we were unsure of which wine or beer to go with and Carlos's wife had no problems letting us taste them so we enjoyed what we ordered... LOVED THAT!!! There were so many choices... After we made our decision we put ourselves in the mindset to sit back relax & not RUSH.... Seems like (well i'll speak for myself as an American) we RUSH through everything... For food we did order the paella (made to order and takes about 55 minutes) again NO RUSHING, enjoy your wine, tapas in between, & your company.... “First time at Plancha. What a gem! I had a lemondrop to start. A perfectly balanced drink. We ordered grilled shrimp. Had a panini that was a house special with mortadella. Yum. The octopus was tender served over butter beans. Brussel sprout salad was very nice. Pan con Jamon, so good. Dessert bread pudding and lemon chess pie was a wonderful way to end the meal. The staff is very nice and talented. Check out the menu before you go, as they have so much to offer. It is a great casual place with fantastic food in Long Island.“

Authentic Japanese food and great quality sushi.They bring out edamame to start.Sushi A is my go-to dish and every time it’s consistently good. Our favorite is white fish teriyaki. Texture of fish and sauce is to die for. Tempura udon is just perfect from broth to udon to tempura.Fluke ponzu roll is so fresh. It comes with sauce on the side.Many sushi combo and entrees come with miso soup or salad and they are so delicious.We finish our meal with green tea ice cream. “Our Global Committee from the Long Island Board of Realtors had a Lunar Celebration of the Dragon last Mon. Feb 12. It was my very first time eating there. The food was sumptuous and delicious. The service was excellent too. It was a self-service styled setup and there were ample amounts of varied types of dishes, some spicy and some not. The chicken dishes were superb. There was an amazing string bean dish with various spices that was fantastic. I believe there was some fish dish, I am not sure of the exact name, but that too was great. Every dish was very tasty and I would reccomend everyone to go there and enjoy an excellent meal.“

“I believe our servers name was Antonio. He was excellent! We had a few questions when ordering and he let us know that the mixed grill would take about 35-40 minutes. So we ordered that right away. There was four of us. We shared two pizzas. The one with fig and prosciutto was beyond delicious! Will definitely order again. I didn't try the other one, however it was pepperoni with hot honey, and our friends said it was very good. The mixed grilled was the perfect choice to sample a bunch of different meats. It was huge and a great value. There was lamb chops, sausage, steak, chicken thighs, and all cooked and seasoned perfectly. For sides we had the most amazing potatoes and brussels sprouts. We also shared eggplant meatballs, which were very tasty. Cocktails were to our liking, strong. My one friend who ordered wine. The manager Cathy came over to check in. She asked how the wine was and a moment later came back for my friend to try one she recommended. We were honestly blown away by the service. Cathy later came again to see how everything was and we happily told her excellent! I would honestly go back even if just for dessert. The fried little pieces of heaven in a bag with Nutella, caramel and chocolate sauce.... OMG! Oh course paired with an espresso martini. Overall wonderful experience and will certainly be back!“
