Leo’s Deli in Glen Cove is absolutely phenomenal. From the warm greeting at the door to the incredible hospitality, Leo and his family always make you feel welcome and cared for. On October 2, 2025, Leo graciously hosted the very first Women Veterans Only Listening Forum, and he went above and beyond in providing a phenomenal menu of our choice.

We enjoyed a full dish of pork, rice and peas, sweet plantains, jambalaya rice, and other delicious offerings — every guest raved about the food, especially the jambalaya rice and pork. Everything was flavorful, plentiful, and served with genuine heart.

But what makes Leo’s truly special is Leo himself. No matter how busy the day, he always makes sure I eat well — and eat healthy. His kindness, along with his wonderful family (including his son), shines through in everything they do.

Leo, thank you for taking the time to listen to women veterans’ issues and for leaning in, responding, and helping us rebuild — starting with the nourishment of a wholesome meal. You have my deepest gratitude for your generosity and your heart.“

“I always stop here on the way to the beach. Quick service, tables often cleaned. The green tea is delicious and consistent with other Panera Breads I have been to. Plenty of parking. There is lots of outdoor seating during the warmer weather. Bathrooms also are well kept and stocked. I will continue coming here frequently.“

On Friday we had their Street Tacos and today we had their Tako Bowls! This may be a small place, but their flavors are not!! Amazing food and great portions! “Second time dining. Excellent service. The food is over the top. We shared the Chef's Special eggplant appetizer and it is simply outstanding! The pita is so fresh! For dinner I had the special that night which was an authentic Kabab and there was no leftovers. We also try their varieties of rice which is is delicious and we have jasmine rice nightly. Finally their baklava is the best we have ever tested. This dining establishment is indeed special.“

My daughter Victoria and I stopped by this Olive Garden at 1246 Old Country Road, and we had a wonderful experience. Our server, Ariana, was excellent—very attentive, friendly, and professional. The manager, Margarita, was also amazing and made sure everything was perfect.
The food was delicious and came out very fast, which we truly appreciated. We enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere and the outstanding attention we received throughout our visit.
We definitely will be coming back. Highly recommended!“

“My wife and I really enjoyed the entire setting family style dinning. We both love eggplant very much the seasonings were not salty or spicy plenty of sauce stuffed with fresh ricotta cheese. All of what we could see were large entrees no fru fru at all. This is another local good place to dine in Floral Park.“

“My wife and I had a great experience at Masaaki and truly enjoyed almost everything about it. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the space was clean and thoughtfully designed, and the overall vibe made it a great place to enjoy a meal.

The food was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was perfect and clearly made with quality ingredients. We especially enjoyed the yaki oysters.

Service once we were seated was excellent. Our servers were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the meal.

The only downside was the experience with the front desk host. At the beginning and as we were leaving, there was no smile, no greeting and no “bye.” That lack of warmth really stood out, especially since everything else in the restaurant was handled so well. It felt unwelcoming and unprofessional and took away from what was otherwise a near-perfect visit.

Overall, the experience was almost perfect. I would absolutely return and recommend this restaurant, and with a more welcoming presence at the front desk, it would easily deserve a full 5-star rating.“
