“Giving Sunrise 5 stars as compared to other fast food chinese take out. They are consistent & fast every time we order from them. We normally request less salt & oil & they’re pretty reliable with our requests. Called in an order at 3:30 which is whn their lunch menu ends and they honored their lunch prices. So yup, they are our go to chinese food in this area.“

“I had an amazing experience here! The food was incredible honestly, even better than what I’ve had in the city. I’ve been to many places that serve similar dishes, but this restaurant completely exceeded my expectations. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and arrived surprisingly quickly.

The service was just as outstanding as the food. Our server was so kind and welcoming. We had a wonderful conversation with her as she shared stories about her life and explained each dish to us. She frequently stopped by our table to make sure we had everything we needed, which made us feel genuinely cared for.

One of the most heartwarming parts of our visit was meeting their daughter, who was selling handmade bracelets to save money for college. It was such a wholesome touch and made the experience even more memorable.

The restaurant itself was beautifully designed, with a cozy and comfortable atmosphere that made us want to stay longer. My group and I left truly impressed, and we couldn’t stop talking about how great everything was.

I originally went to pickup a togoodtogo order and ended up placing a second order because everything just looked so good. Everything I got in the togoodtogo order was amazing and it was a nice variety it had a bag of goldfish as an extra treat which my kids enjoyed. “We ordered the Coconut with Chicken for two at Royal Rooster Restaurant and were thoroughly impressed. The soup and chicken were delicious, with a broth made from fresh coconut that added a wonderful depth of flavor. Their special hot sauce paired perfectly with the chicken, enhancing the dish beautifully.“

“Spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and maintained, ample seating area. Parking lot is shared and can get crowded.

Once seated, service was prompt - tea is on the house. You get equipped with a tea cup, a ladle and bowl, and a side plate. We asked Google Maps AI on what to order - and loved the suggestions. We went with the House Special crossing-the-bridge rice noodles. It's basically a hot pot, just that it's served on an elaborate wooden tray. Lamb skewers were dry, soft, flavorful. Shanghai soup dumplings were steaming hot - I'm partial to soup dumplings anyway so I loved them. Fried rice and Tujia sauce scallion pancakes were loved across the table. Shrimp tempura was freshly fried in fresh oil. Popcorn chicken kept the picky eaters happy. Papaya salad was spicy.

We skipped dessert.

Overall - a wonderful dinner experience, by far the best restaurant in that particular shopping complex (there are several sharing the same parking lot). Would love to return!“

The waiter Alex is the nicest man in the world. They have the best price. You won’t break the bank eating here. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Usually when we want good Northeastern Chinese food, we have to drive all the way to Flushing, so it is nice to have this place much closer to us. The food was really good and had the flavor we were looking for. We liked the sweet and sour fish, crispy pork, eggplant with minced pork, and sour cabbage vermicelli. Northeastern food can be a little heavy and oily, so it’s not something we eat all the time, but when we’re craving it, this is definitely a place we’d come back to.“

“We moved from Port Washington to MA this May and have been unable to find a spot that offers everything that Aki does, not to mention at the same quality! They just execute everything so well. It was our go to for sushi, we loved the apps (the crispy rice and jalapeño yellowtail are fire), and loved also having options for classic Chinese food. “My family and I ordered the black bean noodles, spicy seafood noodle soup, and sweet sour pork. The noodles were very chewy, but the black bean sauce was a little salty. The sweet and sour pork was crispy but there wasn't too much meat inside. The waitresses also kept confusing the orders as they were serving. Overall, the price was a little expensive but the experience wasn't too bad.“

The Singapore noodles and shredded chicken with green chiles are my go to dishes and I’m never disappointed and it always hits the spot. Prices are worth the portions, even with 3 people eating the 2 entrees we always have leftovers for at least 1 more meal.
