“Homey’s Bistro is the place to go to in Glen Head. Across from the LIRR Parking is easy. They serve breakfast, amazing lunch and NOT TO FORGET, the donuts 🍩 and cinnamon rolls, which are massive. Three try one of their amazing iced espresso. They also have beer from a local distributor and started last week. They’re doing wine and crate trays on the evenings of Friday and Saturday. i’ll be going this Friday tomorrow to check that one out. I will give this place five stars friendly. They have their own pastry chef on staff, which makes everything fresh daily. Check it out.“

“I had to come back and leave another review because this experience seriously stood out. The Caesar salad I ordered was absolutely incredible — perfectly chopped, super fresh, and coated in the most rich, creamy dressing that had just the right balance of tangy and savory. Every bite was consistent, flavorful, and honestly one of the best Caesar salads I’ve had in a long time.

What really made the visit even better was the service. DiBonan and Malachi were both amazing — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it and brought such a positive energy to the whole experience.

John and his staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout the event. They provided us with a private area for the team, while the parent guests were comfortably seated in another section.

“We love going to Foster—at this point, you could say we’re regulars. We typically sit at the bar. We especially love their specials, and I’m still thinking about the elk burger I had last year (please bring it back!).The oysters are always fresh and delicious, and the fried chicken is absolutely amazing. Recently, I’ve been loving the salmon with corn and shishito succotash and blueberry teriyaki. Honestly, everything is consistently fresh and delicious.

John, the bartender, makes excellent cocktails—many with fun names like Silence of the Lambrusco. He puts a lot of care into his craft, from house-infused ingredients to thoughtful presentation. He also always keeps you hydrated with their house water, which I truly appreciate.

Happy hour is a great deal and is available at the bar only, Wednesday through Sunday from 5:00–7:00 pm, and all night on Mondays. We love ordering the wood-fired Margherita pizza and fried chicken wings for $12.36, along with their house margarita at $10.30—delicious and affordable.

When we do get a table, the service is always spot on.

My daughter Victoria and I stopped by this Olive Garden at 1246 Old Country Road, and we had a wonderful experience. Our server, Ariana, was excellent—very attentive, friendly, and professional. The manager, Margarita, was also amazing and made sure everything was perfect.
The food was delicious and came out very fast, which we truly appreciated. We enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere and the outstanding attention we received throughout our visit.

“My wife and I have ordered from Previti for several years now thru Door Dash. the food has always been excellent. The other day I had a call from Previti. It was the owner, Joe. He told me that my mother had wandered in after having her car bumper come completely loose on Marcus Ave. She had no phone, and was shaken up by the whole ordeal. Joe called me for her, and gave her a cup of hot tea. I went over, picked her up and got her home. Later my wife and I returned to pick up her car. We decided to eat dinner there and take advantage of the pasta night specials. The lasagna and the rigatoni with meat sauce were both excellent. For dinner I ordered the skirt steak, medium rare. The marinade was sensational, and the skirt steak cut like butter! It was cooked to perfection. We were so full after our appetizers and main entrees, but the dessert menu was too tempting. We shared a slice of the raspberry cheesecake and oh my goodness, if you like cheesecake, order this! They make it in house and it was the perfect sweet treat to end our dining experience. I paired it with a cappuccino. Monroe’s doesn’t disappoint, even to the last detail. “Excellent chicken and rice spot in Bethpage.
I've been to a large number of spots for chicken and rice, from the halal guys on 53rd and 6th, to the numerous spots along Steinway street in astoria, shahs, And other halal spots along the island and around hillside avenue and it's great to have an excellent local place close by to satisfy by desire for mix over rice.

Every spot has its own take on the chicken and halal eatz does a great job with whatever the seasoning is. White sauce is on point and hot sauce is HOT as expected. They have a number of other items I've never tried but am looking forward to tasting.

I saw they have byob (Bag of chips - not beer obviously) which is something that's become popular on social media, and I think it's a great idea for a solid price.

Overall great food that never disappoints that honeslty I'd say is the best bang for the buck in the area and a refreshing alternative to have around to eat. I'd post a picture but the ones that are already shared do it justice enough. If you opt for a platter, while I normally do pita, their fries are great.
