“This is a great old school diner. Cash only (they do not have an ATM) and no wi-fi. Because if what you need is a Western omelet (fantastic) with potatoes and coffee, you don't need a credit card or the internet. There's counter seating and a few tables (seating 2-4 each). “Very impressed. The service was exceptional and the food was great. We started with the Manchurian cauliflower which was unique and very good. My wife’s burger was well seasoned and cooked as requested. I had the catfish sandwich and loved it. Both came with fried fingerling potatoes which were perfectly cooked and not at all greasy. “I ordered garlic, Parmesan wings from Dutch's Place for lunch today. The wings were even more tender than any other place I have tasted them. And the garlic and Parmesan permeated the wings as well. The only thing missing was the blue cheese sauce. I called Dutch's and they said that I didn't have it listed on my order. I then checked my phone, saw that it was indeed on my order and called GrubHub to confirm it, indeed it was on the order they had. It would've been an extra boost to the wings, which needed no additional support, but would've kicked things up a lot . GrubHub gave me $3.24 off of the bill because of this which was pretty nice. Lots of TVs above the bar displaying any sport you’d like from NASCAR to golf. The food is fairly priced and good quality. Portions are good sized, and the food is tasty and filling after a hard week of work. I love the specials on offer. They update the specials regularly, though I’m not sure if it’s daily or weekly. The $1.50 cheeseburger special is hard to beat. I recommend the jalapeño poppers appetizer to start. If you need time to order, it’s a solid pick while you decide. They’ll be fresh meaning they’re piping hot and have molten cheese inside, so cut them open to cool before biting into them though! The chicken sandwiches are huge, and I definitely recommend them. The chicken patties are so big, they use two pieces of cheese to cover it.Parking: Parking is to the side of the building in a large gravel lot without marked spaces. There’s never been a shortage of space when I’ve come here, though it does get busy sometimes. The parking lot is a good gauge of how busy the inside will be.“

“It started out a little rocky due to the hostess being confused on who was waiting first and yet they wrote down our names lol but me being me I took over to help and everyone was seated in the correct order. Our waitress was one of the best waitresses that I've had in my life! She was attentive to my children and myself. She laughed with us and gave us her recommendations. The ambiance is cute it has a boat vibe. The challah French toast was good as well as the classic breakfast but the turkey bacon is nasty for sure, I'm not sure what brand they use but they need not to use it any longer.“

It's a frigid February evening in Albany, I needed something to warm my bones. The braised beef tips atop a creamy polenta, with grilled carrots and parsnips seemed like the perfect fair. It had soul; it lifted me from that evening's mid-winter funk.The beef was incredibly moist and tender.
