“We waited over an hour for a table, which is sort of to be expected on a Friday night, but still a bit ridiculous. They do not accept advance reservations. We ordered a Gracie pie, a New Yorker, and a buffalo chicken pie. All were delicious! Though it falls just a little bit short of making up for the wait time. Next time I'll be ordering takeout from here.

“Flew out to visit RPI when I was in high school over a decade ago. This place had the best pizza I'd ever had. Ended up going to a different college but always remembered the pizza here. Visited again recently. In a decade, tastes can change. Quality can change. I actually debated whether to go back, because I didn't want to ruin the good memory. Well I went back, and I'm glad I did. This is still the best pizza I've ever had!“

“4.5 stars. This is the NY style pizza i was looking for. I can’t say that I have a favorite place since not every place serves the exact same pizza the same way every time. I could probably go back on another day and not have the same quality. But for right now in the Albany area this is in my top three. The evening I went to get a study break and grab some slices of pizza while reading reminded me of my time in Brooklyn when I could get out of work, walk up the street to the takeout window and get a couple slices with garlic knots and finish them by the time I got to the grocery store. This was the flavor, this was the taste. A half a star removed since I wish the back crust, the part you hold, had just a little bit more flavor.“

“Andriano’s pizza was always decent. Since the new owner took over a year or two ago it has been great. Good crust, sauce is not too sweet not too tart with a good ratio of sauce, cheese and toppings. We order at least 2-3 times a month and our order is always correct. The antipasto is a deal. A small salad easily serves 2-3 people as a side. A generous amount of quality cold cuts, olives and hot peppers. They also offer delivery.“

“I heard amazing things about Marisa’s so we finally tried it for the first time. We were originally going to get slices, but when we first walked in, there was no place to sit and have a slice. We would’ve had to sit in our car. The kitchen staff were not friendly, looked pretty miserable and had an attitude when we asked questions. Maybe it was the heat. It was a pretty hot day, but we decided to go into the dining room and sat at a high top by the bar because the dining room was rather small and they had reservations. Not a problem. The food was excellent. The bartender who was the waitress was so nice and personable. She provided a great service. She was attentive and very timely. My husband and I both ordered our own personal pizza which was a good size, we ordered the homemade mozzarella sticks and I had a house salad. Love the food! It was great. Our bill came to $60. We did not have alcohol. I don’t mind spending money on good food. We will definitely return.“

There wasn’t much by way of a menu, but there were a several pies by the slice to choose from (2 veggie, 2 chicken, cheese, and pepperoni) and lots of tasty looking cupcakes. I got a slice of veggie which had spinach, broccoli and tomato with what seemed like an olive oil base. The slice surpassed my expectations! The dough was a perfect New York style thin with a little crispiness and chewiness once you got to the crust and blistered just right. It wasn’t soggy at all, which I was impressed with, given all the water that usually seeps out from veggie toppings. Using an oil base was a good choice on that front. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quick affordable slice! The person at the counter was also friendly and courteous. No picture because it was too good to wait 😋“
