“We grew up in NY. We moved to Lancaster, Pennsylvania. We have never found pizza that we could eat here and enjoy. (I've had pizza at Frank Pepe's in CT- I'm spoiled.) We were visiting family in Mount Kisco and stopped in for a pie to take back home with us. Best decision EVER! Wood fired- crunchy crust that held up to our toppings- sausage and mushrooms. Pizza was tangy, good cheese cover, and the crust just snapped when eaten. You made us very happy and we will come back again when we are in the area. I only wish that I could transport a clone to our area. Thanks for the fine food and the memories. #5!!“

“The best Sicilian in Putnam County. Crunchy bottom, soft and tasty inside. My husband and I get a whole pie, it’s the best fresh out of the oven, we eat two or three slices in the restaurant and take home the rest, freeze for lunches. Bring a devoted Sicilian slice customer I ventured out to a salad, not any salad, their Asian salad. Cold crisp romaine lettuce, crispy chow mein noodles, sliced almonds and mandarin oranges, and the best Asian dressing. Really a very enjoyable salad. A great place for good food and great staff.“

“loved the Pistachio cake from Luigi’s in Carmel so much that I ordered one for my mother’s 96th birthday. I was in Florida and couldn’t partake but my sister picked it up in Carmel and my mom, sister and family were able to enjoy it. There were 7 people at dinner and due to the size and height of the cake, you can see they barely made a dent (however it was completely gone within 2 days). Everyone was absolutely crazy about it and everyone sent me pictures and called to thank me. It’s a shame to even call it a cake because you naturally think of something you buy in a bakery. This is a whole different world. This cake is exquisite. The flavor is outstanding, it is extremely moist, it has a ton of filling and frosting but not that sickeningly sweet kind – this is all top notch ingredients and completely unique. I felt awful because I know I didn’t give Luigi’s much notice and I know his wife worked 14 hours the previous day baking. But I didn’t feel so guilty that it stopped me from ordering it and they were so gracious about helping me. As you can see in the pictures, the attention to detail, the edible flowers, the beauty of the cake made it a birthday present in and of itself. I just cannot thank Luigi and his awesome wife enough for helping to make my mom’s 96th birthday special.“

“The food is always delicious. Whenever I order from the place I get so excited. The wings are delicious surprise or delicious although the mozzarella sticks the cheese is a little dry. Everything else is really good. Most of the time they’re on, but the longest they’ve been late is like 20 minutes. I recommend going here.“

“I can not say enough good things about Mike and Joe's! The staff is friendly and efficient, they learn their customers and always greet you warmly! They are quick, often delivering faster than expected and the food is always great! “Mezzaluna restaurant is a great place to visit. I live in South Carolina and when my wife and I travel to NY we always visit Mezzaluna several times a week. The food and service is always excellent as is our usual waiter, Nick. He is great at his job, very friendly, observant, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. “Just left a crazy Thursday night at IL Forno. What a fun and enjoyable evening we had. We walked in with no reservations and the manager snuck us right in and we even got to the listen to an amazing singer. We have been here a few times, this was by far the most fun we had. Everyone was laughing. The staff which seems to be plenty was having a good time. The manager and Owners kept walking around and making sure all was good and everyone was happy. And is light on the salt, unlike the salt bombs at the most popular Italian restaurant nearby. The food is positively delicious. And their family meals are both delicious and a bargain. We had a last minute family get together, and ordered 5 family meals. It was a huge amount of food, and they had the entire order ready in 30 minutes. On a Saturday night!!!! “As far as take out goes Domino's has all others beat, with tracker you know exactly when your food will be ready and delivered to your car. I was a little lazy tonight and skipped better Pizza for ease of pickup on a rainy night.5 stars is not for the food, it is Domino's and while the food is as I expected, the fact that I didn't have time to turn my car off before my Pizza was delivered earns this location due respect.“

However, a few weeks ago I found myself without side dishes for Sunday dinner - and I ordered salads, broccoli rabe and a few other items and they were excellent.
