All of their food is great, but I particularly recommend the lamb chops, the lemon chicken soup, and the beautiful, piping hot lentil soup I have just ordered on this gusty March day. This place is frequented by people who know good food. It is a family business in every sense of the word. There are pictures of the family in Greece and— whether you have been there or not— you will be transported and inspired.“

“We ordered assorted gyros, souvlaki, tacos and baklava. The staff was friendly and the service was wonderful. Over all decent and accommodating to the greek culture with a twist of spanish. Only thing I would change is to add oragano salt and pepper to the gyros and don't blend the tzatziki makes it a bit pasty in texture but flavor was 7/10. The baklava less refrigerated time and more syrup not leaving the tops so dry. Would visit again.“

“Awesome service from start to finish! The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and made us feel right at home. You can really tell they care about their customers and take pride in the food they serve.
I ordered the gyro, and without a doubt, it was the best gyro I've ever had! The meat was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with incredible flavor. My favorite part was the tzatziki, they definitely don't skimp on it! They generously slather the gyro with fresh, creamy tzatziki, making every bite absolutely delicious.
My husband ordered the chicken bowl, and it was just as impressive. The rice was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, while the chicken was tender, juicy, and had the perfect crispy finish. We also tried the lemon potatoes, and they were phenomenal, soft on the inside, perfectly seasoned, and bursting with bright lemon flavor.
Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and prepared with care. The portions were generous, prices were fair, and the quality exceeded our expectations. This place has officially become one of our favorite spots, and we'll definitely be coming back again and again. The service was phenomenal as was the foo, from the appetizers to the dessert. We ordered the Agean special. The watermelon salad was one of my favorites! After the meal, they brought us two beautifully prepared desserts. And then before we left, the manager spent time talking to us and getting to know us on a more personal level. It was really special evening and I highly recommend Kyma!“

However the food was outstanding, and I am VERY picky. My friend and I split a ginormous Greek salad (the stuffed grape leaves were unbelievable), and we each ordered a gyro. Mine was chicken and so good! We also ordered the side of fries, and for $4 we received a large basket of fresh, hand cut, perfectly cooked fries. I don't live anywhere New Rochelle but I'm hoping to make it back there!“

I had an incredible experience at Plateia GR! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that immediately set the tone for the evening.
The food was absolutely delicious — everything tasted fresh and authentically Greek. The grilled octopus was tender and perfectly seasoned, the meatballs were so moist and so good, and the gyro was delicious and full of flavor. The tzatziki and warm pita were the best I’ve ever had, and the galaktobouriko at the end of the meal was the perfect sweet finish.
What really stood out was the staff’s genuine hospitality — they took the time to explain the dishes and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed.
