They keep everything super clean, tidy. And the dishes look very tasty. Some sandwiches that folks order here are out of this world. Like this morning someone had ordered - refried beans on a roll (as the dressing) with eggs and peppers (bake), topped with sliced chicken tenders, and sliver of fresh cheese (not sure if it was fresco, blanco or another). And the prep had that sandwich stacked so well and packed it like he could have had it while running for the bus! Awesome stuff.“

“I live in Suffolk and had practically given up on pastrami because it's always bad. The pastrami here was perfect. The two kinds of potato salad were both the best I've had in years. The sandwich wasn't overstuffed, as so many are, but I'm very happy to take quality over quantity.

Parking: I didn't realize there was an off-street lot nearby on the same side of the street, ended up parking across the street.“

The staff are the friendliest guys around and just hanging out there and listening to the convo's feels like you have been warped in to a Scorsese movie. Make sure to also try the frozen cappucino.“

“Thank God there are still places like this on Long Island. Old school Italian deli. I stopped by because I was in the area and read the reviews. Ordered an Italian hero with hot cherry peppers. Just delicious. Ate half brought my wife the rest. “I was working locally and decided to grab lunch from Wheeler Deli after reading the reviews. The deli is smaller and quaint but has a large case of Boars Head meats, salads, and desserts. I ordered an American Hero, sides of macaroni salad, and potato salad, and a piece of the banana bread. They got right to making my order and the wait time was less than 5 minutes. My sandwich was fresh, crisp, and delicious. The salads were creamy and had great flavor. The banana bread was outstanding; dense and sweet and flavorful. The total for food and a drink was less than $25 which was a great value. I’ll be back.“

“My son and I went here after I did my research to find the best delis in Hell’s Kitchen, and this was consistently the top answer. We had limited time in NYC, so every place we visited had to count, and Sergimmo’s did not disappoint. I had a Caesar salad, while my son had a Pasta al Pomodoro e Basilico. Both were great, and so was the shop owner’s treatment of us, obviously not from around the area. Next time we’re in NYC, we’ll be back!“

“I've been coming from Orange County every week for the last 2 years to watch my grandsons a few days each week. We make it part of our day to take a walk and always stop in for a snack or a sandwhich. Sam and his wife are lovely, friendly people and always make a fuss over the babies. The store is immaculate and the Korean food is not to be missed. The Bulgogi hero is my favorite go to sandwhich....Highly recommend !“

“Solid Queens NY style Bodega, with solid prices. They season their tomatoes. An oft overlooked game changer when it comes to sandwiches.

Their bagel lox was delicious, bagels had a chew but were still easy to eat, and the Chopped Cheese was exceptional.

“The hot food here (Latin Food) is made fresh daily and it's pretty. You get a decent portion for 1 for $5. Breakfast sandwiches starting at $3 so you can't go wrong and the cold cut hero's are enormous to some really good brewed coffee. Not much on the negative to say except that it would be nice if they carried a larger variety of drink but from canned goods to cleaning supplies to house hold items and an ATM this deli has a lot to offer at good prices.“

“I just got back from a trip to NYC and my brother-in-law treated us to dinner from The Halal Guys in Midtown and I knew it would be good since it was the only food cart with a block-long line after midnight. In fact I liked it so much I wanted to see if I could get something similar nearby... and I found it! I got the chicken and lamb over rice combo and while it wasn't quite the same it was still very good. The only difference is it didn't come with the pita bread and the white sauce tasted a bit different, but not bad. It also has more veggies so more "crunch" but next time I'm going to ask to leave them off (I just don't like the crunch...). I'm very happy to have a local option at a good price and generous portions. Thank you Sam's.“

Well - much to my surprise new owner and better than ever! The MOST delicious caprese sandwich I have EVER had, good coffee and the most delightful fellow taking care of me. I guess it was the wonderful proprietor who could not have been more delightful or welcoming. I wanted to go back in after having half my sandwich to tell him WOW and find out what the balsamic he used was. He also treated me to a chocolate cookie that was yummy - I was so tired I didn't go but made a point of noting the name so I could call and/or write a review! “Great sandwiches. Good staff. Great hot food. But the prices are unaffordable and at this point as much as I love the food, I won't return ever. Ordered 2 heros. Philly cheese steak and a chicken cutlet hero fresh mutz. 1 order of lasagna about 5 inch square and a tiny rice pudding.
Total price 55 dollars.
Sigh. Smh.
Great store. Great food.
But like I said , absolutely unaffordable

“Our go-to place every time we visit Long Island. While their sandwiches are great, I’ve gotta say that their sausage is fantastic- it’s a toss up between the hot Italian or the fennel sausage, both are made in house. Wish I had a place like this near where I live in New Jersey.“

“No shortage of delis/bodegas around. NFM has great hours and are really consistent in their offerings. Usually either getting a BEC or Chicken Salad wrap. Pricing vs quality is super fair. Place is always clean and staff is always friendly. ATM avail. Coffee is mid but more than acceptable“

“The place has recently undergone a management change as well as a makeover. The pictures you see are not current. It's way nicer looking now.

The food is way better now. The staff is cool.

My favorite hot lunch is grilled chicken with provolone and Russian dressing on a plain wrap.

My favorite cold lunch is chicken salad with bacon and black pepper on a plain wrap.

The iced tea is fantastic too!“
