A server brought us a plate of BBQ samples to try. Everything was good. On-street parking available plus a nearby parking ramp (for a fee). The place was noisy but had a great vibe.“

The wings are our favorite, the chicken salad is my 7 year old daughter’s go to. the subs, the cheeseburger plates, the pizza, all the condiments and sauces-just try it all. Do not forget the chocolate chip cookies either!“

I didn’t expect to like it so much (I’m not even vegan! It just looks yummy 🤭). Lovely little place with adorable animal photos throughout also. Employee was kind when I asked for an explanation for them. Loved finding out it’s a community board of loved pets alive and those also lost. They stated the community could bring in a photo of their pet to place on the wall. “Visited Strangebird today. And the atmosphere is great! Full service bar. Or tables available for larger groups. The food amazing. Our bartender Dee was epic!! Had the smoked pork sandwich with coleslaw on it. A phenomenal pairing Tried the bbq spaghetti which nearly blew me outta my seat!!! The bbq sauce was epic! @strangebird you need to shrink the size of the bbq spaghetti to a fries size and server them with the handhelds in place of French fries with that bbq sauce. Cuz heck yes! That bbq sauce on the side as a dipper 🤩🤩🤩. Great job to the staff. Bigger vehicles might wanna park on the street. If it’s busy, the parking lot is very narrow.“

“I love the burgers here, and my dining companion raves about the pizza! Today I tried their version of Nashville chicken.

Way too much bun for the chicken, which was tasty but not special in its flavor. Nice and crunchy but bland. No kick at all. Way too many pickles - no problem, just picked a few off and ate a few separately. I usually really like their rosemary garlic fries. Today they were hard, cool and very salty. Surprising because they'd just opened.

Overall the customer service vibe was off today. Our server was excellent, however the way we were received could improve. I had planned to meet someone at 11:30 am. That's when they open, and trust me, not a minute earlier. As a matter of fact, 2 minutes late, with staff making sure to not make eye contact as they prepared. There was no seating outside the main entrance, situated within a mall. It was about to start raining, so it didn't seem wise to sit outside. Tough on those who cannot stand for long periods of time. When the staff finally unlocked the door, they just turned the bolt and walked away. I would've expected them to physically open the door and welcome the small crowd that had gathered.

“The building looks odd. When you enter there is a small vitamin shop before the restaurant section. That being said, all of the food here was tasty. We tried everything on the menu. My favorites in particular were the stew, risotto and the plantains. You really can't go wrong no matter what you choose. Even the hot Chai was super good. This place is totally worth visiting.“

“One of my kids has pretty intense food anxiety and basically is only comfortable eating chicken fingers and fries when we go out to eat. Making it hard on the rest of the family as that limits our dining choices often. We were really excited to find the kids menu here. The sushi, ramen, AND chicken fingers and fries were all excellent, the prices and portions are good, and the staff were friendly and helpful.“

“Hands down my favorite korean/restaurant in general in the roc area. I’ve been coming here consistently for over 6 years now. I am korean, and this is closest to my grandmothers cooking. I cannot say good enough things about this place. The servers are great, the food is delicious every single time, and the restaurant is cute/cozy. You get what you pay for and more, portions are huge.“

He was very professional as well as personable. The staff was amazing. Very polite & we had exceptional service. The food was delicious. Everyone was very pleased with what they had. We would highly recommend the Brown Hound.“
